I'm gonna be honest this is by far the most destructive heat ray they ever did for Godzilla especially with the dorsal plates popping out and pushing back in like control rods in a nuclear power plant and even the regeneration was wild am i right
It was more than the typical Godzilla heat ray. It was a full scale atomic blast or bomb if you like, complete with a fireball, mushroom cloud and an atomic wind. I suspect that the filmmakers were referring back to the Hiroshima bombing when they created and shot this scene.
If you compare this movie to Godzilla x Kong, the new Empire that is not better than literaly all the scenes in the new empire is way more better than just a nuke
