I believe him. When I was first saved I walked closely with the Lord. Then I fell away and had it not been for God's grace , He brought me back and didn't let me stay away from Him for too long. When His Word says He is patient He is ! When His Word says that one of the signs of a true believer is the fear of the Lord it is ! Because God used His Word to bring me back to Him and I confessed and repented of everything the Holy Spirit brought to mind. If one is truly truly saved , God the Father and our Lord Jesus will use His Word and true Biblical preachers to convict the Holy Spirit in the true believer of every sin - no matter how "small" - and that child is brought back. It is most definitely real. Someone who is not a true child of God will not care at all !!
Thank you for this Word Brother Paul, sin must hinder us. May God help us, and help us to repent and help us, to walk in His footsteps.

I believe if you are ever saved, you were always saved, because it says, "those he foreknew". I believe all of this is true, but as someone growing in Christ, I believe my entire life was a part of growing in Christ. I believe, how you describe walking in darkness, is one aspect, but I also believe that darkness is a lack of knowledge. A Christian should want to know God, and I believe the spirit will lead the believer to the Bible, as the primary source of that knowledge.

Equating to the Pharisees, they knew the Bible word for word but did not know God. Same for us today, there’s alot of people who know the Bible front to back but have not been truly spiritually regenerated through Christ. Scriptures don’t save people it’s truly repenting and crying out to Jesus abandoning all hope in ourselves that saves. Developing a true authentic relationship with him that it almost sounds unexplainable or crazy to any carnal minded person.
Not just in the love of the law sense as stated above. You see that as well when we display the ten commandments all over the place as statues and plaques but also taking lots of verses out of context and sticking them on shirts and coffee mugs. Making an idol of the scripture by worshipping the words but not practicing or understanding them.
The tragedy I think in America is that we have taken this to its highest extent. We value a physical Bible as though it is a sacred object, we swear on it, we hold it up in esteem, but we don't read it. If I burned a bible, the whole of American christians would call me satan. Yet 70% of those christians can't be bothered to bring a Bible to church if they even make an effort to go. Its just a book with ink if you never read and apply the words to your life, yet christians act like sticking one on a pedastal in thier living room counteracts all the filth they invite in.
Jesus is the WORD
Where in the scripture does it call mankind, human? We are not after some pagan god called hu.. we are in the image of the Living God, not a false god, we are MANKIND..
This is not Paul Washer and whoever this is needs to stop using his name.
Regardless of your reasoning, pretending to be someone you are not is clearly unbiblical.
