I started getting in to fashion in the “all blvck skinny jeans snapback givenchy pyrex” times. Then i moved on to punky YSL but had to switch it up once the eboys came along.
Now im at the vintage americana point, which was always incorpated in my style, and i think im going to stay here. I still wear my vintage shirts that i got 5 years ago and i can still wear my jordans and dunks that i got almost 10 years ago now.
I will be happy once the current trends die down and im gonna be sticking with that 80/90s look since that is my favourite time period.

Color matching/blocking definitely takes time to get adjusted to, most times the matching is just so obvious that it just ends up looking dull and corny in some extremes
THIS. Bad matching looks horrendous, makes you look like a little kid who’s mom finally let them dress themselves for the first time.
Yeah this is honestly something I struggle a lot with myself. It’s easy to see outfits that use color blocking and apply color theory to the look and notice that it looks good. However, actually applying that to my own closet is a challenge
I’ll leave that to the oldheads matchin they jersey with they kicks
@@memelord3348 Yeah the only people I see matching their shoes with their shirt are kids, old heads and ppl from the hood. Even the fashiony matching tones outfits are sometimes bad, they end up looking like a walking Home Depot paint swatch 💀

Making fits look good is incredibly difficult most people when starting out just match their top with their shoes like many people I know
Yeah that doesn’t necessarily look bad, but it can be elevated. Color blocking and using a bigger color palette is something I’d like to work on

My style inspiration was way back in middle school when I discovered Pharrell and then from there my style evolved💯

I think it’s a lot more difficult to do, but looks better in comparison. I think you can match, but directly matching sneakers to the color of your shirt looks off to me

I really like the sound of that outfit. How’s the quality on PF flyers compared to Converse?
@@WhatsTheHype.Landon they're great. the uppers and soles are connected with industrial-grade glue and binding tape, and the uppers are a 10oz duck canvas, which is more durable than the chucks.
the PF Flyers fit wise have a wider toebox and better insoles that are actually supportive.

Quick heads-up: you started off making interesting videos on trends and how to associate with them for cheap but you have slowly turned into a hater making one negative video after the other. They’re all called someting along the lines of “don’t do this” or “you’re being fooled”, etc. I think you should go back to your original concept😊. Just saying.
I really appreciate this comment because this is totally not how I want to be perceived as a hater. I try to keep the vids mostly positive and usually the titles are kinda a joke. However, I’ll be keeping this in mind for future videos

Honestly, going out and trying new clothes of different styles and colors is a start. You start to visualize how you want to be presented when you buy clothes to match your current wardrobe. You have nothing to lose in buying these items because most of the time you can refund them if it doesn't seem to work. Research the trendy styles you admire and try to put it all together with your wardrobe while applying your own style. Hope this helps
