Did not expect someone to do a behind the scenes for this game after all these years. Also about the fire thing. That's how unreal engine 4 and a few other engines handle particle based fire by default. Pretty sure the Devs of tjocr and sb both thought that it looked good enough so they used it as is.
I feel like Nikson is a great example of what a professional game developer looks like when it comes to making games, vs new game developers like the steel wool team.
im still glad that steel wool tried with the resources they had i can see them making great titles with enough time, they need to get that experience somehow

I do wonder, how does Creation shift from, ah, vibing beneath your floors to the animation of killing you? Because it would either have to be animated moving from that position, or teleport to a new one, both of which would be interesting to see.

One possible reason for golden freddy appearing in different spots outside the map could be that it is an offset, so it either moves golden freddy in a direction so far then teleports them to the next when ready or the opposite, moving them to a spot them moving them so far by this much to move them into the spot.
i think the spots outside the map that golden freddy uses are for the randomness on when he appears, if there wouldn't be any you would be able to just flash golden freddy every time it recharges
in regards to your comment about the fire, that's pretty normal. fire used in animation is too complex to render into a game that's supposed to run at 30-60 fps or more, and using a model never really looks right, so generally fire is a sprite or particle, which is basically just a 2d image that doesn't correct its orientation based on the camera position like everything else does
-Normally in games during jumpscares, the player camera is either disabled or destroyed and the enemy models you see out of map view have a second camera with them already in place, think of it as a jumpscare event waiting to be triggered. when the played is attacked, the primary view camera is disabled and the game engine automatically routes display to whatever other camera is enabled in the game scene. So the main camera is destroyed, the enemy camera is now rendering and the enemy model plays animation of the jumpscare along with whatever audio you choose to pump into the player's Listener. -Another way which is a bit more complex requires moving the player camera to the location in front of the enemy when attacking wherever the enemy found and attacked the player in the first place. this gives a more realistic effect that the player dies in the same area they were in. example of this is in tjoc free roam, when freddy finds you the camera is disabled and the camera outside the house is rendering where the second jumpscare freddy is. This is noticeable because if you were caught inside the house why would the animation play outside? Frankly this is fixed in the storymode. edit: have to mention it nowadays, I am a gamedev. I just thought the Golden Freddy head was normal sized but through this video it was actually huge behind the sence is funny seeing things warping through objects and teleporting.
If I had to guess maybe during the implementation of Golden Freddy's encounters the dev just moved it's location to the nearest spot they can flick the mouse to? That's something I know I did in my time with extra animations and models I'd just drag the model and flick my mouse to the nearest spot I know cannot be seen
I find it interesting how all of these assets are used, especially for the jump scares. My thought process would be to use a pre-rendered cutscene, especially for the Creation jumpscare when it comes out of the hatch in the floor since that would cut down on assets that need to be loaded at all times. I wonder what the though process was? Maybe so the cutscenes look the same as gameplay or so there's no transition between the two that breaks immersion? It's definitely interesting how these solutions came to be.
While Creation is coming through the floor, you actually keep playing the game. You can turn back to the cameras and use them for the time it takes it to reach you. That's why it's not a cutscene, at least not up until he puts your head in his mouth.
My guess for the multiple golden Freddys is that instead of making one Freddy move from out of bounds to 12 different spots they just made 12 different Freddys, one off each spot

I think why Golden Freddy has multiple spots is because he can appear in different rooms, so if he’s not in use and is going to, say the living room, there might be a teleport spot that teleports him to that specific room, and there’s more than one room, so there’s more than one teleport spot. This might ethier be right or wrong, I’m not sure.
So, Endo B and Endo C attack from the left or right, and Endo F runs at you, is Endo B anywhere? Like maybe running from another side? In all the other “nights” the full cast is there, and I’m wondering if they keep that saying for Attic

it's recommended to have a decent pc to play this game as it utilizes the unreal engine 4, i have no issue with any of the levels

Yea unreal engine has most particals do a thing called billboarding so it always following the camera from what ik of
