I agree. This is one of my favorite Evan-Moor books as well. We can easily do the lessons, yet it still gets the kids thinking about science concepts. Thanks for sharing!
We also love the Daily Science books, it’s also a great opportunity for my older daughter who is 6 to “teach” my nearly 4 year old. My 6 year old reads the teachers lesson, then the worksheet to her sister, then they color the pictures together and just really have a good time. :) If you don’t already use it, Daily Geography is also a favorite, my girls just love it and have had a lot of fun doing it together as well! Thank you for the wonderful videos as always!!!
These look great! I've looked at them so many times on Amazon for my kids and think I will get them for our upcoming year. Thanks for the detailed review!
This is a great review. I appreciate your disclosures/ honesty with each of your videos. My son is also a 1st/2nd grader who is more math/science oriented. Looks like this would be a good supplement. May I ask what core science curriculum you are using for your daughter?
It could be a stand alone science curriculum, particularly for the earlier grades, but I'd suggest jazzing it up with corresponding RUclips videos and living books/readers on the topical sections.

Yes, I have done a review of at least one of the Top Student books and one of the STEM books - I think they make for excellent morning work or summer review books.

I am looking for a curriculum for my daughter she will in 2 grade in August. Your videos are helping me learn about Evan Moor
If you’re interested in Grade 2, my Grade 2 playlist may be helpful. 😊
Your videos are wonderfully thorough Tanya! May I ask if you prefer Evan Moor’s Daily Science over Real Science Odyssey?
My son is so grateful that you helped me realize several months ago that I could do the writing for him sometimes!! You changed our homeschool!
Yay for easier and more cheery days together! 🌸
I am so glad I found your page! Adhd kiddo here, we are currently doing time4learning. I’m wanting to switch now.
Welcome! Thanks for sharing your experience and taking the time to leave a kind word!

I would also be interested in your answer to this question. Can this be used as a core science curriculum alone Tanya? Thanks!

Do you have any experience with the Top Student & STEM series by Evan Moor?
