I absolutely loved the movie. It was funny.. as you would expect from Deadpool, but it was also serious and heart felt. On top of that the action was top notch. I mean, right from the opening scene I knew it would be good. The cameos.. some are oddly saying it was just a meaningless cameo fest but I just don't understand that. Most were actually more like mini-roles in the movie. I'm going to see it again tomorrow.
That's exactly what they were, they were mini rolls. They had great action ,great plot point. They had great lines themselves.

Watched it at a cinema in Berlin last night and was great hearing so much reaction to the cameos. (Don't think anyone noticed Matthew McConaugheys voice though)
And that Marvel montage at the end credits with "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" really got me.
That song came out around the same time as the first X-Men, and it took me back. Loved it!

The batman is the comic book movie that offers something new to the super hero genre!! Deadpool & wolverine is a fun movie but not like this genre re-defining comic book film

Hi John, I love watching your live videos. I think something that could benefit you to make more videos is to do what several streamers do.
Do a stream and then create clips from them and upload them as individual videos. I think it would be very interesting since there are very good moments within your live streams.
You could even do movie reviews in them and then upload them to your main channel.
This would optimize your time, which you may no longer have due to your work. You would record reviews of the new releases to keep your main channel active, you would do it the way you like it best with live streams, and you would create extra material for this channel.
Also, now there are tools like CapCut that help you create typical RUclips Shorts without taking up much of your time.
Sorry for the long comment, but I think that could help you be more active on RUclips, a creator like you definitely deserves to have more.

Since this has been a bit of a slow year for films so far due to so many films being delayed due to the WGA and SAG strikes last year, I genuinely think Deadpool and Wolverine has a shot at being nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars next year. It won't win even if it does get nominated because I already know that Dune Part 2 will win it, but at least a nomination is deserved. If Black Panther and Joker and get nominated for Best Picture, then so can this, and this movie in my opinion was BETTER than both Joker and Black Panther, even thought I still love both of those films as well.
There is nothing wrong with most movies in the 1990s. It is one of greatest decades in film history

Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender, in my opinion, have turned out to be huge disappointments. Their best films seem to be long behind them, and both, despite Michael taking a hiatus, seem to pick whatever is put in front of them. Tom has definitely just been collecting pay checks for a while now. Their performances for the last 5 - 8 years have not been good.
Marvel serviced John, and he blew them.
Makes me sad this is the most anticipated movie of the year so far. This superhero stuff is the equivalent of fast food when it comes to cinema.

I you could say it is a celebration of the great larger then humans movie, it is a celebration of the characters. I am very happy with also Blade/Wesley Snipe fighting for the cause with Elektra, it is small ok, and i love the drinking and the depressive tone of Wolverine. Other channels also say Wolverine is the most developed and exposed character of Marvel studio, because of all the movies at the begin of X-men unto Logan. Well done for these movies especially Logan with Charles Xavier. In these days lot of stories are told, i hope the next step is a story with Wolverine and Deadpool that see the false flag Pentagon/waepon industry has done, and in the story they are just at the begin of WW3 and some countries are not yet in a nunclair war but with ships there is a fights. So Wolverine or Deadpool take / make contact with Avengers or some organisation to gether a team to go back and alter the paste. Yes. again. if they come in the paste they have a detective sfeer, where someway they have to change face and clothes etc and they need to find the generals that do want to start this false flag. etc. etc. and at the end If things are corrected and saved, they leave the WEST and break with their avengers friends and go live in Russia, because they believe that that large country will need some help and protection from the evil west.

I like this movie very much but I feel this movie might be the last good MCU movie. I am tired of the Agenda they push. I am tired of badly written characters. I have no interest in seeing Fantastic Four because of the Surfer and what I hear they will do with Sue Storm. I am close to giving up on Marvel. I am hoping DC will be better.

Sorry John, but I completely disagree with you. The MCU has had at least a handful of good movies since Endgame. Shang-Chi I think is actually genuinely amazing and has some of the best kung fu/martial arts fight scenes ever, plus the REAL Mandarin played by Wen Wu was sick, No Way Home was obviously amazing as well, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was the perfect sendoff to the current group of guardians and Multiverse of Madness I heavily enjoyed, especially seeing Patrick Stewart back, John Krasinski as a Reed Richards variant, Captain carter and the fight scene between the good and evil Dr. Strange with the musical notes being used as weapons in the fight was genuinely so creative and sick. I even enjoyed Eternals for what it was since it was so different to your typical MCU film and it looks like that giant Celestial sticking out of the ocean is finally gonna be mentioned again and be relevant in Captain America Brave New World.
Hell, I didn't even think Thor Love and Thunder, Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania and The Marvels were that bad either and I got some entertainment value out of them mainly from Paul Rudd, Chris Hemsworth and other actors who just play their roles so damn well. They weren't particularly good, but at least Love and Thunder was better than Thor 1 and The Dark World, Quantamania was better than Ant-Man 2 and Iman Velani as Kamala Khan AKA Ms Marvel saved that film from being actually bad because I fucking love her as that character and the Ms Marvel show was also really good to me as well.
I would say that the only two Phase 4 films I straight up just did not like at all were Black Panther Wakanda Forever and Black Widow. With Black Panther 2, they straight up just should have recasted Chadwick Boseman when he passed away and continued on with TChalla's story like they had always intended. Instead, they threw his character away that Chadwick spent 4 movies building the legacy of and killed him OFF screen in a way that made no sense within the context of their own established rules. In the first Black Panther, they establish in the opening scene that the heart shaped herb is what gives the black Panther his abilities, but also protects them from all illness and disease, and yet in the opening few minutes of the 2nd film, he dies off screen to an unknown disease. It made no sense and was a complete slap in the face to Chadwick's legacy and the legacy of the character of TChalla. I also HATED that Shuri took over the mantle of the Black Panther when it clearly should have been either Okoye or Nakia instead as they are both actual warriors and Shuri is just a lab nerd and Namor as a villain was so bland, boring an forgettable. We were also teased with Riri Williams as Iron Heart and told an Iron Heart series is coming and we still have heard nothing on that even though the show has been done filming for years no apparently.
As for Black Widow, I think that they waited way too long to do a standalone Black Widow film and it was certainly too late after they already killed her off in Endgame two years prior. Yes I know the film was set in between the events of Civil War and Infinity War, but still. the only good parts of that movie were Scarlett Johansson obviously, her sister Yelana played brilliantly by the beautiful Florence Pugh who also popped up in the Hawkeye show and David Harbor as the Red Guardian who is gonna be in Thunderbolts next year. Everything else in that film was completely forgettable and Taskmaster is easily a top 3 worst villains in MCU history.
So yes while I acknowledge that that there has been some ups and down in the past 5 years of the MCU, I believe that there has been more good than bad and after seeing Deadpool and Wolverine yesterday, I have never been more optimistic about the future of the MCU, especially now that Bob Chapek is gone as Disney CEO and Bob Iger is back at the helm and has given Kevin Feige his creative control back, something that 100% contributed to the quality decline of Phases 4 and 5. I mean HARRISON FORD is going to be Red Hulk. How the FUCK can you not be excited by that?
Just saw Deadpool & Wolverine. There’s some fun parts, but as a film, it was awful. Cameos don’t make it good.

For me, Twisters was good, but not as good as the original. this is a copy, all the tornadoes appeared in the same order, practically one to one as in the original, only the characters made a slightly different mess.

Did you really just say it's the best movie since Endgame? This thing couldn't beat Deadpool 2 or 1 in terms of story. The cameos are weak, the story's wonky and the villain as usual generic. But to each their own.
How does Marvel keep hitting the same brickwall is my question? Just how much failure do they need to just stop making these movies because they don't know the first thing. Multiverse of Madness, No Way Home, just senseless movies with no stories, their only plot being "the multiverse".

Deadpool vs Wolverine was overhyped. Not 1 clip i can think of that i will wanna see again. 7/10 movie. They make a few hinted promises they dont keep. Fixing all the wrongs of the comic book movie past will be too expensive in a movie.
