Ironically I just made some little pumpkins for a new Halloween fairy house I am making. Loving this theme and great quality video with very clear and easy to follow instructions xxx
Jenny this is fantastic!! I've been wondering how you got your pumpkins to look so real since I attempted my first pumpkin Fairy House last year. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent.
Question, do you ever varnish pieces after painting? If so how many coats do you use? I've been using the Americana DuraClear Ultra Matte and satin finish but don't know how they hold up long term since I'm pretty new at this.
I don't usually seal my polymer clay pieces as it's not required, but if you like a little shine on your pieces I'd recommend varathane polyurathane. Acrylic finishes can leave a very sticky residue that only worsens over time. Um, I don't know if you use your food cooking oven or a special oven just for polymer clay but either way you really shouldn't be heating up super glue or any glue for that matter. Polymer clay will stick to itself just fine or glue it later on. The off gassing of super glue could get on your food or in your air and make you sick.
I usually use polybonder, a high-heat superglue that is perfectly fine in the oven. Superglue in small amounts is also perfectly fine. But thanks for your concern. ;)
@@wishingwellworkshop8130 I also super glue with my pieces too after spending $10 two different times on special polymer clay super glue only to have it dry up after barely having used it.
Thank you for sharing! I’m glad to find your channel!
I'm so happy you're enjoying it! :)
