Small update, for those few who may be wondering. I have been working on a second animation to follow this one up. It is higher quality, longer, and more detailed. However, I am a student, and don’t have a very powerful computer. So it’s been very difficult to find a good opportunity to render the full thing. Even if it is only one video, and a very small one at that, I am still thankful for everyone who still watches and comments on it. All the best. - Drew
@@TheNctic we don't know. Scanners are smaller than these dots while being at the middle of the d1_trainstation_06, not to mention the ridiculous amount of them stored at the citadel and the speed they're going.

@@drewwagner5227 The combine metal is actually somewhere dark blue and somewhere rusty light black. But yeah, the Citadel is a bit sheen by the light of sky.
The citadel isn't quite similar to the one in the game, but I VERY liked the sounds. I hope there would be more animations like this. Some people have a question: what are those flying things? I've looked into the .vmf and here is the answer: they are actually scanners. They must be smaller, so it is sprite issue.
you see the issue is. the citadel and every far and tall right? when judgement waiver is initiated, those small motherfucker must be going very fast. ….They don’t even look like scanners. they looks bigger than intended…
bruh i always thought they were birds that maked nests in the citadel tiny holes and got scared when it started to make noise and started fying around it
So sorry for the late response!!! The model I used were little low polygon spheres. This way it cut down on render time and the amount of work I had to do. Lore wise, I’m not sure actually? I’ve seen many people discuss them, saying they might be scanners, aliens, helicopters, etc. The biggest consensus I’ve seen was: they are scanners.

The texture is black, but the lighting of the sky texture causes it to sheen blue a bit
