Dylan talks about the various levels of acoustic treatments and the way he can change the sounds he gets in his recordings just by changing the amount of absorption and diffusion.

Good job, I notice the room gets progressively tighter and more focused. Only gripe I have is I wish the video was edited with each take going right into the beat, skipping the drum fill at the start and end of each take, making it like a seemless drum loop to make the differences easier to hear. Aside from that, thank you for taking the time to put this together.
You mentioned that you've built a platform for the drum set. I'm interested in a similar project. There is so much vibration going into the floor! Would really like to minimize it, but there aren't really any commercial options available. Can you post some details? Thanks in advance.
Very cool and useful. You guys should do more of these types of videos. Inspires me/reminds me to add additional room treatment and really increases buyer confidence in the investment of taming and transforming the room to achieve my goal in what I want to hear.
Thanks Jonathan, we will absolutely be making more! Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss any.
