This movie moves a bit slow in the first two acts but it's all in service of this very powerful scene where he glances down into the toilet. I really did feel a shock go up my spine when he glanced down. Oh it hurt.

Gotta rely on yourself when chasing the life you want because very few of the big names will help you unless you already got a buz. Even then they aren't there to help you. They're there because there's something to gain from having you under them. These days you're better off doing it yourself. Fortunately it's a lot easier to do everything yourself now. Not that its easy, just easier. You might never be a mega star but if you work hard and stay focused you can definitely build a comfortable life for yourself without a record lable or big name features. It just takes a lot of time, work and dedication. And much of that time in the beginning you wont make much if any money. You really gotta love doing it to push through that initial struggle. Literally everyone will discourage your goals and want you to give up. It takes a lot to push through that. Definitely not for everyone.
