I want to share my experience.
Pirelli Diablo 2 worst tyres on wet road for dominar 400... confident level goes down 3 to 4 wet rides..... my daily updown is of 300kms. My stock rear tyre MRF worn off after 17000 kms and I changed to piralli Diablo 2 and front stock tyre changed to apollo alpha after 19000 kms.
After ride of 6000 kms rear tyre (piralli) worn off and start wobbling at speed of above 90, last month I was riding for my office and it was raining and at a speed of 70-80 it wobbled on national highway and got skid luckily m safe and alive but my Shoulder and back spatula got factured.
My dominar got heavy damage on left side and still after one month dominar is in bajaj service centre and not repaired due to unavailability of parts.
After my dominar comes out from garage I will switch rear tyres to apollo alpha or ceat rad.
Those who want to switch tyres specially rear tyre I definitely not recommend Pirelli rosso Diablo 2.
    It's upto you riders.

My KTM Duke 390 BS4 2017 model's tyres are about to die and want to replaced with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres because of bad road conditions in my location but because of government's restriction only two years old tyres are available in market. Some distributors are saying that we hope government will remove restriction till march end and we can get fresh stock in month of April. So I decided to wait till April. What's your thoughts on this Sir?

    • @beingCuriousRider
      @beingCuriousRider  4 года назад +2

Scorpion are great since they come from Pirelli but if you have 50% off-road in mind then go for them else Rosso is good enough for indian road conditions.
Regarding the ban I really don't think it's gonna relax but yes manufacturers will find there way and come to India since it's the biggest market for them.
Meanwhile look out for torqueblock on insta for fresh pair they might have something you need. If not second best option is Michelin road 5 last Apollo Alpha

Hahaha brother your curiosity is greater than mine.
Well to answer all your queries.
Michelin is good tyre have used them for 3-4 years in my Duke 200 but after using Pirelli and now alpha I would only recommend Michelin pilot street if budget if concern if not my recommendation will be in following sequence.
      1) Pirelli Rosso diablo II
      2) Michelin road 5
      3) alpha
Reason will explain in upcoming video.
I have heard timsun is good and available too you can connect with torqueblock on insta they will help you with all type of tyres.
Alpha is not good on off road and on road if compared to Pirelli but yes it does corner well but challenge is getting it out of corner but nothing serious there. I feel it's a harder compund then Pirelli as I'm getting lot of bumps on concrete roads which was never the case with Pirelli.
