Due to the massive population in NYC there’s usually or frequently someone from a particular neighborhood in NYC that you’ll find in many parts of America that used to live there
This is a cute neighborhood. Everyone out and about enjoying the gorgeous weather. That's what makes a community plenty of shops churches and eateries all one proximity. ❤
You've showed the restaurants in Elmhurst before, and it's nice to see them again. 😃 13:29, 18:32 It's always a treat to visit these food courts, and I'm glad the Hong Kong Food Court is back. 😎 Thank you for sharing this informative walk and the updates of the businesses in Elmhurst, AK! 🤗
Elmhurst is the only Thai town in NYC as of now. So many people of south east asian countries living there. And bro, quickly came way before vivi’s bubble tea in Elmhurst tho.
Elmhurst,Queens looks quite nice neighborhood 3:23 nice building , many other beautiful buildings ,nice stores and restaurants along your walk😎 you for sharing this relaxing and enjoyable walk A K 🙂👍!!!
As a New Yorker, I hadn’t ever been Elmhurst, but I do ever work in Sunnyside and ever took a walk in the Queens Borough area. There are a Grennpoint Avenue and a Broadway Avenue actually connecting to the Williamsburg and Green Point.
Very common for many people to not know their own city. Which can be bad actually if all they see is negative things and then spread distorted info on social media
Got to say, I _never_ expected to see strip malls (called 'plazas' here in Toronto, IIRC) in New York City, but there they are. And these restaurants in this particular Chinatown are quite affordable.
If you would have walked a couple more blocks down 45th ave. you would have passed by a house my grandfather owned with a wisteria tree he planted in 1930, it's almost 100 years old! Probably the oldest wisteria growing in queens. 78-14 45th ave.
I grew up here. I no longer live here its nice to see through this video how things look now. Not much has changed. Some things have changed, however its not a dramatic change. Personally I never liked living there.
at 16:00 that was fucking disgusting IMO. putting the orange back after it was rolling on the possibly dirty, nasty sidewalk and the street also. if it was me i would have thrown it right out
I lived down there in the late 80s, near Broadway and Whitney Ave. Nice to see the old neighborhood again! Thanks!
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with Elmhurst!
