i watch a lot of kayla's videos so i wonder if you'd like these books because she often likes books that are a hit or miss. im also excited to see her reaction to this video because at first i thought that she knows that u're doing this.
ah, The Christie Affair is on my TBR too! I can't wait to see what you think of this book! Also, this video (esp Catherine House part) kind of highlights how much our perception of a book can change because of an audiobook! I find it very interesting! Great video as always!
Those shoes look amazing! I am VERY picky with shoes too. Fun video. I haven't read the first two, but I sort of adored aspects of Catherine House. I think that Vita Nostra is definitely an inspiration for that book.
I know it's not in this vlog but if you do read My Heart is a Chainsaw soon I hope you vlog it because I looooooove it so much and I feel like it's a polarizing book because of the pacing but it sooo pays off and Jade was my favorite character I read last year. Pachinko is also amazing, one of my favorite reads last year 💕 I'm so excited for the show! It's such a long book but it's a journey and a beautiful story, it never FELT long to me. And I just learned so much about the Korean-Japanese relationship in history. It was very eye opening.
I love reading weird books ! I can't believe I still haven't picked up Bunny or Catherine House. Ill need to prioritize them this year. Love your channel
I never really interpreted Bunny’s ending as you did, that changes a lot, but at the same time I don’t think it meant that Jonah was conjured from the mud, or maybe it did, I love how ambiguous everything is and that may be the same reason why a lot of people hate it
I'm so excited for you to read The Christie Affair! 😁 It ended up being so much more than what I'd expected it to be.Also, it seems like while the rough structure of events is based on the true story, the details and some plot points might be fictionalised.
This was such a fun video and I’m glad that you enjoyed those books! If you ever felt like testing another booktuber’s taste, I would love to watch it.
The Christie Affair is on my tbr for March! I think it was a good idea for you to put back the Chanel Cleeton books and to borrow them from your library because imo, they were enjoyable, good reads but weren’t as great to me as the Next Year in Havana and When we left Cuba books. But def worth reading. LMAO “all vibes, no plot” 😂
Hey, new here but loving ur videos. Do u have a video on how ur sticky notes system works with the colour coding and all that? If not, would u consider making a video on that?
Bunny was good. I really enjoyed it myself, but it wasn't a five star for me. I also enjoyed Catherine House, and I personally did like the ending. It stayed with me when I finished it though. But that is also all I can say on it. I didn't love it, and it ended up being a three star for me. I do want to read 'In my Dreams I hold a Knife' because it sounds amazing.
I dnfed bunny after part 1 because I just found it a bit too weird for my taste. Also I wasn’t a big fan of the main character and her narrative voice but I did find it interesting how she did not like how obsessed the bunnies were with each other but to me it seemed like the main character was obsessed with the bunnies due to how much she spoke about them. In my dreams I hold a knife seems really interesting. Will deffo want to pick that up one day.
Catherine House - I think because most (if not all) of the students were brain-washed in this school during those weird sessions, the main character's point of view is so "detached" and fragmented. It seems that because her mind is foggy and unclear the narration is the way it is. At least this is how I interpreted it.
Ahhhhhhh I'm nervous but excited !!! I can't believe you did this 🤭😅🥰
I honestly hope you don't think I'm crazy!! love u and your channel 💗
Kayla I love your videos just as much. You are both fantastic booktubers. 😊😊😊😉
Pachinko might be my favorite historical fiction novel of all time. The pages flew by.
Hi friends, i highly recommended a abook (Habits wisdom & mindset of highly successful people) available on kindle
Loved the way you took the shoes, picked a book and styled an outfit to match the book. You kept the sponsorship portion fun!

Omg! I have to re-read Bunny because I didn't get that last part. I really wanted to re-read it anyway. Wow.

You should do this for gabbyreads and her thriller recommendations (which are usually awesome)

How do you tab your books or when do you places tabs??
"It's like 400, almost 500 pages so, not looking forward to that." LOL, me. I rarely have the patience for big books. XD

Hi, I've sent you a collaboration offer to your email. Hope to hear from you soon 😊
You forgot what happened to Agatha Christie. What a coincidence so did she
