I look at the first models I painted about a year ago, and I feel the urge to strip them. I swear by LA's Totally Awesome purchased from the local dollar store. I've been stripping the Grey Knight army I bought, and even with Acetone, it didn't seem to really start working until I used some Totally Awesome. (Maybe I've just got some bad acetone.) I know all about boxes with a lot of options. A Grey Knights strike squad box builds Strike Squad, Purgation squad, Purifiers or Interceptors. The only real differences in parts are the backpacks for the Interceptors and extra heavy weapons for Purgators. The models I'm building right now are all pewter, but I've got one that I've already swapped in a plastic sword for a metal one that broke.
Back in the 2nd Edition Starter days, I bought a few when it was just the Rogue Trader sculpt. When I got back into things last April, I started with plastic Grey Knights. When I heard that someone at my FLGS was unloading their pewter army, I tried to resist - I really did. $100 for almost 50 models was too good though.@@acrossthetabletop

do they come with raptor transfer sheets?
Been a bit, I seriously can’t remember
@@acrossthetabletop Ahh would you suggest this kit over heavy intercessors for people new to space marines?
I’d go with the heavy intercessions. Better fire power, less minis to paint. And to me they have bettwr staying power
I really don't like the look of these guys
They are a bit different for sure 👍💯
I think they are among the best looking marines out there!
