If we made battery cells in India too then it would become 100% made in India, unfortunately Indian politicians and buisness faternity did not secure the lithium supply for India and Chinese Government and conglomerate good future planing made it possible for them to control 80% of the world's raw material refining, 77% of the world's cell capacity.
Ola already did manufactured cell in TN though a prototype but we are moving ahead slowly

These cells come from Shenzhen, and there are 3 variety based on quality. Indian market import mostly low quality cells.

NMC is required to stop at 80% .....LFP need not be stopped at 80%

BMS must protect cells at any given point of time... Even at 100% discharge.... That is what We call SMART BMS........gor more details contact Mr. Nitin Banait

I have doubt ola has NMC 21700 something and let's say lfp has same series aka dimensions there would not be any difference in specific energy aka density so only advantage in that case will be charge cycle, C-rate and thermal stability not weight or size of pack and neither mileage am I right ?

LFP batteries can be charged safely upto full 100 percent, this won't effect battery longevity unlike NMC battery. Only thing is that it shouldn't be discharged to zero level.

@@pratikbankar1761 At present BYD's E6 Electric MPV is coming with their unique LFP blade battery in India. Also Tesla's standard models are coming with LFP battery. The LFP battery energy density significantly increased and that could hit in the market by next year. Also most of the major EV manufacturers are shifting from Lithium Ternary battery (NMC) to LFP battery.

if you vacuum pack it there wont be air circulation and battery will overheat.

Dod depth of discharge must 75percent
Discharge till 25 charge till 100
OLA uses lithium nickle aluminium chemistry I think, they are not lithium iron phosphate so yes you should never overcharge or undercharge them. Also they may have not put a limit on overcharging to get more range out of the battery.
Use it between 20% to 80% for long use.
TESLA has a inbuilt app system in which you can set the maximum charge % for the battery, like if we set to 90% then battery will only charge to 90% and that helps in getting more life out of the battery but OLA has no such feature and there is no way to automatically limit the charge to 80%, you will have to look at it constantly so it does not overcharge.

@@wahgurujee battery ka safety testing procedure ka standards hain ye. AIS 048 hote hain purane lead acid batteries ke liye. AIS 156 hote hain naye zamane ka lithium ion battery ke liye. AIS 156 America ka banaye gaye UL 2272 testing standard se zyada strict hai.
if the battery cells are in a vacuum, air evacuated plastic bag , how does the air flow for cooling occur ? Temperature transfer through conduction will not be good through plastic .
I was thinking the same about why they are wrapping the battery pack in plastic!
yes no cooling system in the pack, they packed it in plastic later so water does not get in, this is the problem when a Medical Doctor opens a battery factory.

Aren't they use prismatic cell for their battery?
Prismatics aren't that good, rather than grid energy storage, if one of the cell dies the whole pack dies, its not a problem in cylindrical cells

LFP Battery safe hoti he ye myth he Tata Nexon Ather 450x uses LFP still caught fire. Manual efforts ke wajah se Human error ke changes bahut jyada he.
Automation is best solution for this issue.
NMC chemistry use kar ke Ola chali across india and across the world in Hot summer still it haven't caught fire almost 40k were running.
Tesla also used the same chemistry. Now they are moving to LFP
