Music is disabled, weapons are hidden and I used Female Voice and Sexy Female Voices. (In case of you're not used to it).
Any Feedback are welcome , so I can improve myself !

I messed up with Segments, I also stopped Watch in the end but double pressed the key so it unpaused ^^'
This is my fastest attempt; each time, I have flaws : bots getting insane so I lose too much time in assault (or my team get really useless /stupid) or failing to finish Skyline in less than 10min (as my average is between 10 and 5) or simply just failing at finishing Ice-Field : according to me , it's the hardest map to score before the end of countdown : on this run, this is my 1st attempt and success with a new strategy and I couldn't even finishing it on other attempts all the time or with a lot of saved time : so here, 7 min saved is pretty satisfying for me as all my BR map was : it's pretty stressing to fail on "Canyon", specially when it's the 3rd and last goal : same for Skyline, I can score twice in a min. and having to deal with RNG for 5 other mins.
About Colosseus , it was also my fastest match , thanks to closest spawn; most of time Im close to my goal so I don't have time to get and launch the ball and I didn't met a crazy wanderer bot slaying me in a sec with his minigun or LG.
I have so much fun on "Disclosure", what a pleasure to get revenge and slay bots to push teammate to goal :p
I won't comment all map and mode but with assault, BR map are the hardest and more RNG based for me, that's why I had to reset Canyon 'till I got another ennemy team to succeed. They usually don't have 1 mate camping so close from their goal...Same for Skyline and flakers inside, this is so harsh.
So, I'm very satifisfied of my BR run !
About CTF : nothing special to say, "Face" is fun coz it's faster for me to camp and kill than getting it myself : this way I also increase my cash with spree and Wicked Sick.
2nd map can be a bit hard sometimes, specially when fighting vs Damarus (and his strong aim), i can lose 30sec , 1min max here like I did on Twin tombs; otherwise, "Grassyknoll", "Faith" was quick for me, "MoonDragon" under 10min is also ok for me as it's my hardest map : as Lauren is very strong and annoying and I have to deal each time on ennemy team on the exit of their base.
Bridge of Fate was ok, the last was a breeze (it's always).
About Assault : my overall time is ok; I've lost many minutes on "Convoy" but my successful attempt was the fastest I've ever done so It kinda saved the lost time.
On Robot factory I did better, if my bots would have hit a bit more the core I would have saved 30sec to a little minute; same on "MotherShip Assault" : I failed to a one flack cannon shot so I lost also a little minute.
I should have tried to not change my teammate on Semi-Final : I usually don't need it and I messed up a bit with management menu which is messy.
It was also my fastest "Qualification" and "Team Qualification" attempt : with auto-assist I would save 5 more minutes but to be honest I prefer using nothing even If I don't beat anytime : this is certainly the hardest parts as your bots can also get rekt and feed ennemies and so even if you do your best, it's game over !
Managing double Domage time is the most important thing, even if I die doing nothing as long as ennmy don't get it.

I agree with that, when I don't play this game for too long I kinda loose some skills, especially hitscan reflexes and when I buy a new mouse, this is the first "software" I use as a tool to calibrate it the more precisely.
I don't know other games beeing as much intense as it, allowing me to tap into my mental ressources way much more than any other games : I can get exhausted after a day or two of speedrun attempts : nervously but also physically if do it a week long.
I'm now too much busy and also playing Borderlands 3 to speedrun these day but I think instead of beating my time I'll post better campaign DM / TDM match as I can now reach my full potential with that mouse :p

@@marcinschulz4167 Hello, I was a Steel Serie Sensei 310 during this speedrun ; I'm now using a Razer Viper, IMO perfect for my palm and my game style (Claw Grip); I'm also using a hardmat ; I dislike clothed one (supposed to be accourate but I play nervously : "throwing" suddenly my mouse on any side like a reflex move). I have little hands and even the Sensei 310 was too big and heavy for me. I perform even better with the Razer now (and I did UT2K3 and Godlike Challenges with it)

modern 2012 and newer games: *updates almost everyday with no fixes.
lmfao you're naive if you think there wasn't any patches or glitches in older games. also, it's as if games get more complex over time.
More complex? I don't think so.. the complexity decreased exponentially during the 360 era, only in the latest years games started to regain terrain

My god I remember playing assault, it would be so much fun if the AI of your team wasn't braindead. Otherwise the mode itself was really fun.

You need to put the speedrun in novice. I think playing skills can be better seen at a low level of difficulty. Since in the godlike, sometimes they don't even let you breathe. You are amazing anyway. I can't even finish it on maximum difficulty. Mi récord en dificultad principiante es 2:50:03

2:50:03 in which difficulty ? I could reach second place on Novice run but I didn't run a lot so I stopped (I didn't want to upload even if I could be second at least as I didn't try that much to do better).
@@PandaRZ I know what You mean, I could reach 2nd time in a few attempts but I couldn't run that much to try to beat 1st time and nowadays I'm out of it...I did it in under 10 min after first one. (1h35 I think).

Mate, thanks for doing it, it was a masterclass: nice mix of skill, strategy and sometimes bot AI dumbness 'abuse'. I, for one, abandoned the Godlike run after too many attempts at Convoy. That got me so upset I never played the game since then, about 4 years ago. I wish this vid was available at that time... It would avoided me so much frustration...

Will You reinstall and try again to pass through Convoy , now ? ^^ I Couldn't find enough time to train this year but I'm now faster and more consistent on Convoy and on some other maps : but I still struggle to finish Icefield, I can't find any tricks to help...I know I can do it in under 3 hours, if stars are aligned...
UT 2003 is better to run, IMO : funnier, a bit easier and no boring BR and even AS (waiting for countdown to end when You defend...) and the end is epic !
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 Oh, I never uninstalled the game. Bought a new PC since then, installed UT2004 among other dozens of games I have in my online libraries and never had the time to play it. I'll try it again at some point but real life is too demanding right now and I feel too tired after work. I already watch computer screens at work all day long and I try to give my eyes a bit of rest...
Maaaaan, what a beast. Found your video via Steam. Love how you get 0, 1, 2 deaths on all the Qualification maps, except one, Desolation. That is one cramped map. I have only seen the first 20 mins yet, but what you wrote about BR-Ice Fields is true, it IS the hardest part, regardless your (or the AI's) skill level. I have completed this only on Masterful or below already.

Yes, at first I just wanted to record and upload a private video, as a tribute to this great game, so I could find it back on RUclips many years later (I lost so many screenshots / important video for me, in the past.).
I expected to see many of Godlike Campaign videos on internet and I was suprised that the only 1 I found, was a speedrun WITH aim-Assist : So I told myself It would be a good way to honor this game by uploading one without this help : it's already a good achievement to be able to finish this game in Godlike with this feature enabled, whatever the time done but, such help is kinda spoiling the interest on such kind of game.
And I also wanted to show a serious play, not only rushing for times : that's why I didn't want to die on 1st round, I could not die on 2nd, 3rd (Albatross), did some wicked sick on some other maps but my final run was this one; I missed more shoots than I use to but I was exhausted ^^'
I've just started to train again , right after achieving a very satisfying (and more pleasant to watch IMO) UT2K3 Goldike speedrun : I've already found a way to save 4 min easily. But I can now compare better between 2k3 and 2k4in term of challenge : this one is a big step easily above : as If bots are in "Wicked Sick" difficulty in 2k4.
I just need to find a way to me more consistent (or regular, not sure how to say) on IceField but I can't do it yet. I did improve regularity on some other maps but sometimes, bots are totally mad , they focus me even harder than usual, I just have to kite and defend a lot. That's why 2k3 was better to run, I could have been more offensive.

And Indeed, I was a Quake (3) player at first, I even plan to reach top 20 Quake 3 Arena hardcore speedrun (on pc and dreamcast), but I'm too much focused on other stuff to speedrun these days.... But "sunk" is a right word, I would even say that i don't know any other games which can melt my brain so much...

Thank you very much ^^' I still think it's not a perfect run as I lost most of time retrying "Convoy" but what is annoying me the most is that I have done proper Qualification and Team Qualification (with a Godlike on Goliath), my aim wasn't very consistent as it was very late (4 a.m) but as it was my fastest ladder reach (~25min) I guess it is the main thing to aim in a speedrun ^^' even If I like to die as few as possible and to reach spree.
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 I don't understand a lot about speedrun, but I have one question: Why won't you pick better AI teammates, at least pay for better ones, with more % and stuff? Does that make a difference? I played this game when I was young, but even though I'm a good fps player now, on the masterful level difficulty I struggle on Assault maps. Those bots are insaneee!

The fact is it's not perfect at all but I stil can't beat this time with less "fails" and retries...

I think UT2K3 run would be less messy, RNG and boring to realize on some parts : thinking about Assault , BR for example.

It will take some days to upload and validate it, i think it's funnier to play and watch as it's also shorter : but I was pretty ugly in semi-final whereas I kicked ass on 1st attempted :\ And this run can be easily improved by 5 minutes.

Yes, that's why I wanted to give this game my tribute, something that should have been private at first (video recording a full Godlike campain I Would keep just for my own on a hard drive, before I realise there were no RUclips video in this diffculty without auto-aim : just a speedrun and then I came in this "game" too :p This wasn't planned at start)

Finishing the campaign is a pain, cash system was garbage and doesnt allowed infinite retry on a map without farming money on very first campaign maps

I love Unreal Tournament. I use to play the bot-match extra game that came with the Unreal game. I knew then that it was going to be big.
Good thing double domination is instantaneous. Otherwise the last levels take the whole 20min :'D

When I searched for UT2004 speedruns, I expected to find some 10 year old video since nobody plays this anymore, what a surprise to find a 2019 run!
Watched the whole video today, incredible speedrun dude! I really think you can do a run below 3 hours, but it must be perfect and with alot of luck. You lost 10+ minutes total in this run on some maps, like Ice Fields (Bombing Run) and Convoy (Assault), so with some real good luck it could be doable, no?
Another thing that could speed you up would be to use the Speed Adrenaline Combo (UUUU) instead of Booster (DDDD), I never saw you use that in the entire run. Even though it drains quick, it could be just the edge that you need, don't you think? Alot of HP doesn't help anyway if have 3 Godlike bots on your tail.
Other than that, I noticed that you have 99 % of the map items memorized (Super Shields, Double Damage), which was really cool. I know you aren't lying when you say you have played this game for years.
I always loved playing Instagib and sometimes Super Berserk, what are your thoughts on those mutators?

I couldn't find any time to answer U earlier : if you have any tips I'm ok with coz I could finish Ice-Field only two times...And I can't find a way to reach below : watching it looks less difficult as when you're playing it : this is also the reason why I'm focusing on adrenaline coz I'm always afraid of the -125HP from a headshot : it can goes so fast and even on adrenaline bots won't miss you; as another commentator wrote : these are the hardest and most unfair bots of gaming industry : I don't know if he's right but I can feel it
About memorizing I'm glad coz I never played or very rarely most of map : I put a time to search interesting points / items and I hope i didn't miss any tricks. I never played Duel or DM with non-persistant items coz i was bored to memorize timings !
I can't remember much about superberserk but It was like a 150% insta-gib speed ? I loved freezerail on Quake 3 and sometimes played it, I kinda liked it but not that much I quickly lost interest in it and some people were too godlike meanwhile I wasn't good first years + bad ping but anyways this looks like 2 good mutators for a frenzy player (as I am I think).

ruclips.net/video/7rCENaFhr78/видео.html : I was pretty angry to be killed twice in a row and so I blowed a totally furious combo, as U can see I turned left and right as a raggin' way to blow it but In fact it went very fast, was totally an intuitive move as I was a bit random, even if I expected him to be there. And the overall combo shock was pretty hard and narrow.

Great run man! Few days ago i remembered this gem and started playing again so i went and searched and found this gem of a speedrun. Just a quick question - wouldn't it be better to get better teamates as game goes? I've noticed in my playthrough that it helps with time saves for some maps. Avarice and Torch at the start and Lauren after some time are my go to as they tend to play really good and aggresive. But other than that really enjoyed the speedrun.
Hello, thank You very much for your compliments ! I guess it's a bit long and sometimes boring to watch (As part or BR for example lol) , my UT 2K3 run is way much better IMO (1h, easier bots, not glitches avaible and I had a better mouse for more show :p)
I Could find a way to save like 7 min for sure...Maybe 10 but I'm still thinking about bot system : I think it is broken in this game : even with the less expensive, You lose dosh on 4-5vs 5 matches, even if you Win ! Because of fees, because of injuries to heal...
In later games, some new one would be beast, as the one You said, robots too etc But I would lose time on 1 vs 1 or InstaGib (way much harder, I can still win like 50% of time lol but it adds even more RNG to a very RNG game from the start to the end, after 3 hours running...) and even with the 1 min glitches, I still lose times...
And I figured out basic bots sometimes are kicking ass, more than better one...It still parts of the RNG system, sometimes one goes Frantic or totally dumbass without reaction, whatever it is Maclom or Siren :p) and cash is the real problem to not lose time to play extra matches to increase my bank account...So I stick with the basic one for now.

Yeah, You can't, unless You enable a glitch as I did for this speedrun ! I plan to play a standard Godlike Campaign with all these Glitches (BR teleport, DD instant capture and DM 1 minute left timer) : it's is way much harder then !

I just played a dozen of thousand of hours (certainly more than a hundred of thousand hours) to this game.
I was awful during the 2 first years, until someone taught me how to set-up my stuff, like not doing 3 turns on myself because of a too high sensitive mouse x)
Thanks to him, I Could have a sudden skill improvement and I Wonder how many years It Would have taken, for me to be aware of setting things up x) maybe never.
But once you are at ease with settings, You just have to play a lot , no secrets : You can be gifted like some crazy early teenagers I saw playing but the longest but surest way to deeply master things is by playing, over and over , with enjoyment.
Thanks to the lot of Quake 3 and then Unreal experiences, I feel at ease on every new FPS I try, even on 'simulation'.
Because I Don't need to think about my mouse or keyboard, It's like a part or me as subconscient is trained (and no choice on Godlike), so I can just focus onto the game content.
Same for reflexes, i need to play some times to times to not lost it and UT2K4 is the most demanding on this, and puhsing my limits so I sometimes warm up on this game to get better into some other x)

Btw what do you mean by Bow Champ ? i'm not english and there's no bow in UT, just the LG :p

It's been a while since I played this game, but I remember for Double Domination you had to control both points for 10 seconds or so to score, which turned most maps into stalemates and made Double Domination my least favorite game mode. Did they change that or is there a setting to turn that off?
Hello, I Had the same reaction first time I Saw this on the ex WR video...It is an allowed glitch, I didn't even know it was possible...Atm, You can active 3 : In DD, BR and DM ;) So this way, You can save like 1h easily, maybe more. But one day I'll do an entire run without glitches coz it be will the regular and hardest way.
this was an absolute gem to watch, I really enjoyed your typing commentary, too. Especially when you showed us where you live on the mothership map xD
may I ask, why do you use the egyptian teammates? Is it because you need money to skip post-match challenges? I was thinking it could even be to prevent enemies from respawning in bases since the teammates have a harder time getting kills.
Hello sorry for beeing late : Yeah I didn't remember how accurate was the Earth aspect , even for an old game :p
Because it's among the less expensive, I'm not sure if there's a synergy betweem them because of their common origins, but it's a good way to remember which one to pick up quickly : i made tries With better bots but I end up beeing out of money pretty fast : even on victory, You lose cash because of too high fees and healing cost.
Maybe it would worth it on laters maps, to be more efficient but even on the very first levels, best bots like Bartooth and all Gothic team can be sometimes even worse than Egyptian team.
Just a tip - if you just completed an objective in Assault and wanna quickly get to the new spawn point, just press Q (I read it on Help page in UT2004, really works)
Anyway it saves several seconds, unlike the suicide with shock rifle or shield gun and following reinforcements

Back in the day I gamed on the FSB clan for years. We would do what you did on Godlike and better our skills. it helped. Though only a hand full of guys did trick shots with the shock rifle.

I would assume when you can manage Godlike bot it's a commin thing to be able do combo while moving / in the air ?
I think I did better stuff on my 2k3 because bots let you more space to be offensive and for skill demonstration, I also had a new mouse allowing to use all my abilities (when it doesn't crash...Razer stuff...)
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 we were a sniper clan and fought DM 5v5 or 1v1. When we fought 1v1 it was usually for team leadership once a month - CTF - InstaGib - TDM. We had scrims on Wednesdays - Fridays and Sundays. Shock Combos like jumping into the air shooting out the ball followed by a 360 spin and then connecting the shot to kill. Or front flips and so on. I miss the game and friendships I made online at that point in my life- Goodtimes and lots of trash talking to other clans.
@@Inf7cted Ahh taht's why : I almost never played DM and never Duel for sure, I hated this last one; I liked instagib sometimes in public ^^ That's maybe why we have different playstyle , I was an Onslaught player only until 2009 (combo shock helped to insta kill Scorpion and...That's all ^^ But I really wanted to handle it the hardest way coz It's amazing to be able to blow it while moving and I like playing freestyle , in the air ect... :p

@@jaskielakowski8521 Thank You very much...I'm far from beeing the best at this game, (Ihate Duel and classic TDM) and Bots level and behave is "mostly" predicatble even though than can sometimes go crazy and do random stuff which make speedrunning even harder...Big RNG. I now have a razer Viper 1800DPI on a 32" Inch 1440P screen. You can find gameplay with that one on my UT 2K3 speedrun and all my Godlike No death challenge.
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 Cheers! 32" ohh my I find my 27" too big for FPS games and yet you play on even bigger screen, you probably sit like 2m away from it :). As for the mouse I think I'm gonna try bigger DPI and lower sens cause I'm old schooler still running with 400dpi.
17:45 You can drop weapons in this game? Wow, I never knew and I've played the campaign at least 3 or 4 times. This is really useful when your gun is empty and you are infront of the pickup. It also could be really useful in multiplayer to give your teammate a gun if he just spawned and you don't need it.

Yeah , it's important to drop weapon before getting a new one on a weapon rack = more ammo, I just do this for that; even when You pick up 1 ammo pack, You get more benefit from tossing your weapon instad of 1/4 of it : for example, with a link gun, You start with 130 ammo from a rack. When you are from 1 to 69 ammo, You get 70 : If you toss = 130 So each time, I try to be careful to leave at least 1 bullet in the magazine to get back to 2x more.
And my voice pack is something from the game core, You can just choose another voice style annoucements; maybe You get more with latest patch and community content.
Wow, the graphics are gorgeous, crisp and distinguished.. Watching on my 43 in monitor they look good, but on my little 10 inch tablet they are so fkn purty...

RNG = Random Number Generated ; somewhat I would say runs are always differents : even the same bot can be "cool" and totally crazy next game : this can happen in the 1st and last game so I'm bound a lot to "luck" to realise a correct run : it's very hard to be constant.

I've started 1 week ago to speedun UT2K3 : actual W.R isat 1h35 , I've just finish it in...1h14 :p Buuuut I still wanna try to aim the "perfect"run in 1h10 or close.
If you are interested in, It should be uploaded in a week (I have a very bad broadband) and I should be more interesting that UT2K4 to watch : way much shorter, bots seems easier and there's much more intense action and shorter games. I'll run UT2K4 later, I have to admit it's exhausting me : physically It's not easy to say sit 4h+ and it's even more demanding on nervous system to stay always alert and reactive : the worst thing is the random side of things, my own bots going totally dumb and failling the run while I did a great qualification round :'(

Yes, I saw how in the run of UT2004 one of the bots took two first-aid kit +25 hp right in front of you (it was fun :D) and one more time the bots started blocking you when you carried the flag to your base .. Shit happens. Do not worry.

I know the video is 4 years old but I enjoyed the speed run ! I've learnt some tricks there and there, especially for Bombing Run. For BR-Ice Fields, it was pretty smart to set your allies on "Defend the base" so they kill less enemies and give you more space to run freely in their base. 😎
Is there any reason you built your team around the Egyptian squad ?
It's funny that we can immediately see you are not a CTF-Player judging the way you played Face Classic 😆 Plus the fact you choose Booster over Speed / Berserk for CTF ^^
In my personal experience against Godlike bots and for big CTF maps, I set my allies to "Seek and Destroy" instead of "Get the Flag". Because when you order them to get the flag, if your own flag is captured at the same time, your bots tend to go back to your base and by that, you lose a lot of IA management efficiency. I prefer to do all the capturing job by myself with 200 HP + Shock Rifle and Flak.
One last thing, and it's a personal opinion, but the speedrun seems quite biased since there is no cooldown for Double Domination and the final TDM and Duel are reduced to 1min match. Would be cool if you try the speedrun withouth these glitches :p

The power of SSD ? I don't even think So it mays be as fast on a HDD. I had a friend with Server Ram at the time he got an old P4 Prescott : it was loading even faster than now but with a lot of crashes though
Watched the whole lot, great run mate! Loved all the nifty tricks for each map, plus you're a good shot on the Shock Rifle also. I also felt your frustration in many parts lol, I bet during the practise you got an awful lot of tension headaches and probably developed the 'cortisol body shape' lol.
You gonna attempt sub 3 hours at all? I reckon seeing this that it would be possible with a flawless run through and you look more than capable of pulling it off.

I wonder If I can reach it under 3 hours....I've done another attempt WITH aim-assist and I only helped me to save 5 min in Qualifications phase but I've still done it in 3h15...
So this run was a breeze even with time lost on Convoy. I feel like I can't get pass through failing any map after my countless run (100+ for sure), as if difficulty is scaling on my performances. But it's totally random : I can face impossible bots right on 1st BR map (it's happening like 1 out of 3 times) or in the end of Ladder...
So I feel like I will have to deal with it anyways, the only thing I could do is to spot as fast as possible when I have to skip a team (I start to know which opponents are too crazy on certains maps).
And it's a minor thing compared to AS = this is the most critical mode as each minutes lost is x2 more times to finish the map.
I'm also not consistent on some BR maps and I feel like it won't change : I can't finish Ice-Field that fast anymore, I've listened to another commentator advice but It doesn't work : I assume he trained vs Instant Action godlike bots...They are way much more aggressive in campaign and its tactic won't work.
So on many maps it's like throwing Dices (Ice-Field, Skyline and even the last one can be a little bit).
With aim-assist I could have saved 5 min only...And i still finished it in 3h16 x)
Anyways, I've just received my new mouse , a Razer Viper : I spent 5 years with 2 lovely Steelserie Sensei and Sensei 310 but I was Love N' Hate and I already feel the difference with Viper. (Steelserie was too heavy, big for my hand and non-braind cord on 310, wich is 20e more expensive than braided Sensei oO BUT 310 optical is impressively accurate ! It's something ! But now I'm back with my 1st love : a smaller and lighter mouse + a very nice braided flex cord, which won't make me miss shots...).
I need some weeks to get used to but I already trained today on godlike and blowed some combo shocks with much ease with : I was tense on my old Sensei 310 now, I can free my mind on having to compensate my mouse trouble.
So it will help; but I just now need a very big lucky "dice throw" to finish it under 3 hours...
And yes, I'm not usually nervous and frustrated but I runned from 1 to 4 a.m after many attempts...:p And I was oftenly crazy about my mouse troubles; it was one of my less consistant aim-accuracy. And thanks , combo shock Is my preffered attack, I love it so much :p)
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 I wonder if taking some moments to switch out team mates will help also as the bulk of the game is spent in team oriented matches? Increasing the number of victories in your favour in the bot fighting will improve the RNG so to speak, more reliable on the Double Domination and importantly Assault, as well as also providing better back up in Bombing Run and CTF.
@@mandomavicus3616 This is an idea, when I started to run , I used to pick up the most expensive and efficient bots but I finally stated that most of em wasn't that much better than the one I'm using (average cost). Sometimes they can kick ass, like Thannis, Bartooth....But they can be also pretty buggy, specially one of two of them. Are sometimes, "basic" bots can also do wonders.
And it's risky to run out of cash at any moments ! Even when I think I've saved enough. The cost of using a full team is something....But I may try If I think I can handle this extra cost.
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 Suppose it can come down to how they're coded, like, I would always pick them based mostly on accuracy, if they've got a shock rifle or sniper rifle etc, it doesn't matter what else they're doing, on Godlike they're gonna be pretty formidable, I just don't know how well things like tactics and the like translate over to the actual matches but I've heard people say having high tactic team mates really helps in regards to Assault which is where a big portion of time is, I imagine the same applies to DD.
I know when I do 1v1 with Godlike bots in Deathmatch, depending on their skill level and the map they time their pickups, always contesting for the Double Damage when spawning, so I think they do factor in some things like that which give them an edge, overall about improving the RNG odds though really.
@@mandomavicus3616 Now I have my new mouse, I'll run soon to get under 3 hours and I'll think about the best setting I can use while managing bot : accuracy is the main thing but I think agressivity is also important, it's like a "calm" bot is 50% less efficient (somewhat) : I need cannonfodder in AS so I can reach obj. than they kill everything. I need them to be reactive and fast on points (I sometimes wonder where they are wandering).
I don't know what Strategy is used for, maybe for AS and domination too ?
Anyways, cash is a big point : too expensive bots = losing my runs.

UT 2004 + godlike = hardest bots in the game industry with imbalance wallhacking and weapon changing. But you speedrun it by 3 hours under the row! Fcking beast, I think that this result want hundreds hours of shoot trainings.

Hello ! Thanks a lot for your compliments ^^' Yeaah any% (if it's what u're asking, otherwise it's Godlike without aim-assist). I'm playing since 2005, I don't know how many hours but certainly 10k+...I didn't know there were the hardest ever...But yeah so unfair they swap weapon faster and some other stuff like no time respawn in assault for example (it feels like it at least). Or they can throw the ball and teleporting right away but fortuntly I could have also enabled this glitch for me :p
But I'm not satisfied about my aim, I did way much better with many quick scan reflex shot, I didn't do that much here , this run was from 1 to 4 a.m after many hours of attempts...
Anyways I was faster as ever to reach ladder so it's still satifsfying but I wanted to show you nice game also :p
Maybe I'll run another time soon, hoping beeing a few faster but with way much constant aim.

Bots on all levels are unexpectable. (AI movements, rocket spams, alt link fire)
Yeah , that's why each speedrun are also unexpectable, from 1st to last Ladder match (final is easy-peasy why my self-found trick :p) and sometimes bots can get mad at an impossible point that you can only endure the tempest : 2003 is better IMO as I could be more offensive.

Hello, there's a glitch to enable : in "Instant Action" menu you can change some parameters and it will also affect campaign mode...I can still beat the campaign the regular way but it's way much longer and harder.

They should really make a new category for this game (99999 credits). Runners won’t have to worry about the credit system and can focus on awesome gameplay! I’m sure you can manipulate the credits in the UT2004 files.
in bombing run why you jump through for firsttwo goals and shoot for the third one? woouldnt be it faster to shoot eveytime?

Because I don't know If you noticed but scoring through it gives 7 scores and 3 if you launch it through : in a way it rewards you from taking more risks.
Sometimes I'm forced to shoot otherwise I know I'll die for sure before I get in. Still better 3 than nothing.

I'm busy these days and it's also physically demanding to stay sit and focus for fulls days so I'm slowing down but it should come before a year.

Well, I'm using 'Jump' and 'Crouch" to rotate the spaceship, but sometimes it gets stuck, I have to press like a tard on keys to get unstuck x) I don't thing there's one key to get it back to default as it's more about your space position than just a camera move.
How do you use your translocator so fast after throwing the ball in bombing run? Like I have to wait 4-5 seconds before using the translocator

I'm back and training again, Ive found 1 new glitch that should save me 20+ min for sure : You can change the spawn protection time , it can lenght up to 30 sec (If you not shoot or do some specific action), it works for all gametype but I personnally find it useful only in Assault : on some maps I can save only 30 sec but on some other it is like 4min, 5 min ! (As a second worth 2 here...).
I know it is not Godlike spirit but Ill do a no Glitch run, it will be so awful with a lot of fail or retry that it is not for me something to validate as a speedrun, but just a completed Godlike campain, it should lenght more than 4H30 (I will be forced to wait the end of many maps countdown, specially on Bombing Run, Assault will be so loooong and risky too, 5 min of 1v1 final boss...🥴), I Will footage this one day ( primary Idea before going into a speedun)for now I feel these glitches are good news for everyone who want to try it : this get the game a bit easier and also shorter, I Hope We will have more speedrunners in Godlike and else !
Beeing just 2 Godlike runners make me feel Im not that legit to have a speedrun medal, as it is more of a "Can You finish it ?" challenge.
Anyways, Ive also noticed I forgot to enable a second Double Domination Glitch : I had countdown between 2 points capture...
I didn't train yet but I should save at least 2 min : At least 10 sec per capture so , just 10 sec on first maps (only 2 to score) up to 30,40 seconds But the most important point is to get my runs safer as I wont lose time by dying during the waiting ! (And also waiting for my bots).
And I also save 30 sec to 1 min at least by swapping CTF Face to the alternate map BUT I Will lose a lot of cash (Which is a big pain in this game, that can waste a full run , even when U win u lose money...so stupid. I can do Wicked Sick / Holy shit on Face , giving a lot of money so, It mays worth to lose a bit of time here).
I can also save 5 min elswere, on 2 other maps...
I m a bit more consistent on BR Icefield (only 2 success on dozens of attemps before), on Skyline too but it is still too much RNG based...
I can finish Icefield in less than 10 min (13 on my run), Skyline in 5 but sometimes I just can t score for many minutes...So much random, still.
Anyways, under 3 hours was possible for me but with this new glitch...2h45 is doable and it Would start to become a pretty nice time for that awful and Nighmare campaign !
Moreover, I have another mouse, on which i could have done Wonders on 2K3 speedruns, this will help me too, see you "soon" (i dont expect an upload in many months but this year at least)
Have you tried hiring team-mates with better stats (e.g. Kragoth, Thannis etc.) to see if that gives any time save? Or is it too expensive/not make enough difference on Godlike? While the difference isn't huge, I do find team-mates with higher stats tend to be faster to objectives on Assault and Double Domination and score more frags on DM; making life a little bit easier.
@@NecronW248 Hello, yeah I think you are right but in the mean time, cash system is broken : even with the less expensive mates You lose cash after a win (price fee + injury healing), so it can waste a run if You fail and restart 1-2 maps ...
It is even more obvious with the Gothic Team : recruitment or healing cost increase with bots stats , some worth over 800...
But I shall try some challenge to win free mates , specially the maokai or robots one .
In my mind I can finish the game with the less game as possible so I skipped challenge game or avoided to lose time in the management menu, I even tried some runs with better bots at first, even with Barktooth or Thannis and Ive noticed they are bugged and can stand still , sometimes !
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 Ah okay, yeah that's true, some of those team members are super expensive. I find that in DM and challenges Blackjack scores the most frags anyway, because of her high accuracy, even though the Necris teammates have way higher tactics, agility and aggression and she's really cheap. I completed a campaign run on Masterful today (training for Godlike) and am finding that the higher the difficulty is the less the bot stats matter. Challenge matches and Deck 16 seem to be the only matches where you need bots with good accuracy. Yeah Barktooth can be buggy, he ignores enemies when I order him to cover me (even if they are shooting and charging us) - but that could be because he has lowish tactics? Not sure on that one.
@@NecronW248 Yeah that is true specially for Barthooth : I feel like this is because he came later in an expansion pack and it is not well managed by the game engine...
I really tested them a lot and it was 50/50 about the higher and the less expensive : but it is interesting about accuracy, I would say, with agressivity it is the best and tactics for assault.
I Couldnt play that much this year, I need to find a way to beat BR-Icefield all the time...I struggle here, maybe I should try with differents kind of bots.
And If u noticed, one same bot can be totally crap or godlike another time so, the most important factor is something on which we cannot do anything...it is purely random

Hello, I don't think So , maybe You can find some old post on forums asking that or make a new query on Steam Community, reddit etc...
I played 99% of time online So, I rediscovered another whole experience and gamestyle , even some maps in Solo.
But bots are broken for me...You can run ouf of cash even after a victory so you shouldnt fail too much if you speedrun ; bankrupt = gameover, for me.
With add-ons, I can pick up a Ghotic Team with Barktooth for example, but him and his teammate are too much expensive at start and sometimes then even sux harder than the cheapest bot.
Sometimes they kick ass really hard but they are bugged : If often notice Barkooth not moving, just idling...Which the Other bots dont (texture / pathfinding bug apart)

Je m'étais enquillé une journée entière et fini ce run vers 3h du mat...Ce qui fait que je n'étais plus très frais lol et je suis obligé de couper la musique pour m'aider à me concentrer enfaite, c'est surtout de l'anticipation au bruit et à la "logique" / intuition plutôt qu'à la vue (pour le coup les bots ont le dessus bien souvent). J'ai fait des série de challenge 0 mort en Godlike pour tester une nouvelle souris et ça donne mieux ! Par contre j'aurais pu mettre les musiques pour le coup ^^ J'arrive à battre mon temps d'environ 10min sur quelques map mais il me faudrait concrétiser le tout en un seul run...
P.S : j'ai laissé la musique sur le speedun du 2003 car j'ai remarqué que la spatialisation des sons et les bruits de pas sont inexistants et totalement imprécis.

TBH it's unclear because I've started on ONS demo server (Torlan / Primeval) and begining on internet in mid 2005 (I was playing Q3 before but I wasn't awesome :p)
I did some long break and then restarted like 5 times , even more so, continuously I couldn't say but In a way i never really stopped since it came out :p So I would say at least 7 years seriously, this is what I have in mind, certainly more.

I could never find a game that surpassed UT99. I tried the later UT games but after UT99 they all seemed to me missing that vital connection that made you feel totally in control, hard to explain.
I wish they'd release a remastered UT99 and just leave everything as it was but just upgrade the graphics.
Fabulous! There is an opinion that any professional team in cs go will not live for a minute in the same cage with the mega father of UT or Quake. I think you fall into that category of maniacs. But why not complete this game without glitches of dominance, translocator and others? Yes, it will be longer, but the game will be the way other players are used to seeing it.

This isn't the fanciest run I did but at least I could reach the end with a correct attempt, this game is so much RNG based from the first to the last game...IA is pretty nice, even the same bot doesn't behave the same the next retry (on the same map).
I Didn't play CS a lot, just the last one for 3 months ; the game type and play is very different, So I couldn't tell but I feel like veterans Quake-like games players enhance their hitscan and instinct at a higher level (because of the frantic speed).
I did a better run on 2K3, with a new mouse, I Can now play at my best potential on that point , don't hesitate to watch my UT playlists !
I Wasn't expectating using some (allowed) glitches , I didn't even know there were some before my attempt ! But U win easily 1hour / 1h30 with it so I couldn't afford to skip that.
But just after this, I was also thinking I'd like to make a regular run but I didn't take the time for...
I can enhance my time close to 3hours, under 1h on UT2K3 but I have 2 jobs and a new GF x) I hope I'll one day ! But maybe in many years...If I have to.

Moreover, I changed my mouse so now I have no more hindrance , whereas the previous one was sometimes embarassing me; I can do quicked stuff , easier combo in any situations...:p Helping for maybe beating my time one day ; meanwhile, I did two "No death Challenge" with that new mouse, If You want more !

@@MrMastergear I Won't bother You with these but I had more pleasure to do it as I wasn't hurry by time x) otherwise, I also did my UT2K3 with this new mouse (Razer Viper) and bots are easier than UT2K4 one so I could played more offensively.
Do i remember wrong or you had to hold the two points for 10secs in DDOM? In your gameplay, team gets the score instantly without waiting.
Hi, this is an allowed glitch that I even have badly set up : You can INSTANT capture with no delay between point ! So I can save even more time for a next run. To enable it you have to change it in "Instant Action" settings, it will have effects on Campaign maps !
In robot factory I use the far turret to power up the closest turret, it works

@@azurhadzic2908 I have to watch again what i did, I trained after this on différents ways but If You simply run on sides to avoid hits It is the fastest way Ive found ; I also found a trick to safely destroy the final core : it is not that tricky, a bit dangerous to cross the plateform to a bumper (ive never noticed it before and I just shooted from the outisde) and Im in a place where bots forget me (I have a very narrow windows to shoot , I can kill myself or If I put my nose outside Im dead)

Man my dad brought me into unreal tournament when i was only 6 years old and i still play ut99 to this day if im bored
I bought UT99 one month ago, this was my 1st UT game (even before solo games), I even bought it again with the "expansion CD" for extra content. I understand why most of Unreal player prefer this one, it's so special, about the ambiance, the feeling...
But still, I personnally perfer UT2K4 because I was in love with Onslaught during 5 years , I never liked Duel but when I discovered Team Arena Master, I was totally in love and moved to this mode (and still playing it sometimes).
Is UT 99 working in windows 10 now??

Oh , really ? xD Because they are insane on 2004 , way much more than on 2003. My DPI and sens is very low I suppose : 1800 and 0.35 in-game sensitivity (1440P 32" monitor , no mouse acceleration). I have enabled many glitches (I didn't know until I've watched some speedrun videos) : in "Instant Action" mode you can redifine some rules, such beeing able to use teleporter right after tossing the ball in BR, changing time in DM / TDM and also time to hold both points in Double Domination : this way I have saved like 45min at least, I'd say. I used to do regular runs before it, every maps are still doable, Double Domination get even more RNG and frustrating when you have to hold 10 sec ^^ I've never had trouble to finish TDM and DM also and I mostly benefit of glitches for BR runs.
Finishing career mode in Godlike is kinda a good challenge in a way and I'm very pround of finding myself this little double shield jump trick to find final boss , he's always on top !

Took me about 7 or 8 tries to beat the first level its super hard on godlike
It happens I had to inspect and retries a lot of map I wasn't use to play at all on multiplayer (I would say 75% of the campaign) before starting to speedrun serioulsy : I needed to get used to bots routes, items emplacements, all the places and stages...And each bots got his own behave (according to its skills, weapon preference...) a lot of play to get enough experience but also a lot of intuition and luck to have as they are still a lot unpredicatble !
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 I know what your saying I find the only way to beat them at this level is to run and gun before they can get close and easily outmove me I cant get past the later matches cos they get more kills than me I just started playing this game after not playing it since 2010 2009ish got lots of nostalgia for it prob the most memorable game I played along with the original doom
@@nightofthunder5509 Yes, this difficulty is even too much in a non-sens way, It wasn't that unfair in 2k3 (on other points it is but not on I.A and hard focus on 2K4), because it prevents us from playing, simply showing the best you can. That's why I personnally prefer 2k3 runs but in term of skill, 2k4 is asking more. (just because of aiming is harder, I don't even talk about I.A. and the needs to run away and defend, sad they prevent us from.playing at a certain point of the campaign)
@@f.f.mwitchcraft4519 yup I was unable to beat the ai on team deathmatch maps often dying before I could get a decent weapon you face a bot with assaultrifle against shock rifle flack cannon rocket launcher your toast I found theyd almost gang up on me sometimes I can beat it one on one but team deathmatch cant get enough frags to beat them
@@nightofthunder5509 I don't know your playstyle but shieldgun is mandatory, dodging too : on a certain time of playing you will feel when you have to or not, sometimes it's 0.1 sec close x)

I've started toplay it again yesterday(Doom64 EX) on PC, and I loved Doom64 T.C. ( I'll try Absolution then).
Nothing related with Doom Eternal (and I didn't like Doom2016 anyways) , it's jure pure coincidence and I don't see in a favorable light the fact they give the 64 version with Eternal, both are on total opposite wiew , about the spirit of the game.

Having played a lot of UT2k4 godlike is impossible with this sort of play.
I suspect a mod was in place to have bots with poor aim

What can I do to prove my game files to be legits ?
I've found a way to save around 10min So one day I could post another speedrun video ; I cannot really spend my time to show my games files and .cfg data as I can achieve a full run one every 2-3 days (because of RNG and straight time to me now) ?
And what Do you mean by this sort of play , I could be much better / safer ? If You watch bots behave on some maps Like Convoy, Ice Field, Deck17...You can see I just get harassed and perfectly aimbotted. I'm very dependant on RNG so, on some maps bots are a bit "crappy" and on some, there are almost impossible. Moreover, I know a lot and can predict a bit bot intentions (at the very last second though) So I may look like I don't move a lot but a little strafe on the last second can help me to avoid a bad situation (moving too much is also useless).

Sorry, but you cannot shoot teleporter right after you launched the ball. It takes time to recharge...is this an improved version of the game?
You can change Bombing Run settings in Instant Action and they carry over to the campaign. The setting in question is "BallLauncher drains Translocator"

This game is probably one of the hardest FPS games out there. Godlike is downright a cheating difficulty and it's extremely hard thanks to RNG too.

This is an allowed glitch : on Instant Action you can change game rules on each kind of gametype and a few on them get applied on Campaign mod ! Including DM timing (the game must consider Semi-Final isn't a TDM match but more like "Duel" :same for Double Domination holding time, beeing able to teleport after throwing the BR ball...
I plan to stream a campaign game soon without these help : it's way much harder, specifically on BR and DD mods.

Why in double dominations no countdown?
It is an allowed glitch you can activate through Instant Action game rules : it also works for Bombing Run instant teleporation (after Thrown ball), Deathmatch time timer (only for semi and final , 1 min countdown).
With glitches : / awesome anyway.
I Agree, I had the same reaction when I saw other runs before trying, I didnt even knew they exist and I didnt even triggered the DD Glitch properly ; I can save other minutes and I hope Ill be able to run again soon to reach Under 3H (I could save like 5 min elswere and find some tricks).
But without these You lose easily 1h30.
Ill do a standard campain one day the normal (hardest way), as a tribute !

@@x-techgaming Ah no, not at all : I sent a lot of time to tweak and find the right sens at 0.05 points close : this is the most demanding game for me about that point. And I remove mouse acceleration (always, under Windows and on everygame). I could tell you more accuratly If You needas I'm maniacal about that.
