Rent should be set in Milwaukee, like 2 bedrooms should mandatory be $400-$500,3 bedrooms homes $550-$700,4 bedrooms $700-$800 and a 5 bedroom home should be no more than $1200. It would lower homelessness and prevent predatory landlords.
The city of Milwaukee had two sizable assessments/tax increases in 2yrs. The interest rates have also more than doubled in less than a year. That isn't landlord greed it's basic economics.
@@imdjlight it's called inflation. Biden gave/is giving all our money away (basic economics). For your rental properties, you'll never be able to raise your rent as fast as inflation is rising. The thing about socialism is, you can only take away money from the people that have money for a short time (it runs out quickly). Thanks Biden!
@@JoeWudgeP5000 I don't think the president have control over it , it's greed of big companies making money and adding crazy profit like oil companies are making huge profit the government need to step in and put a stop to it , companies are buying houses and charging crazy rent without anyone telling them how much they can raise the rent it shouldn't pass 10% not 30 or 50 % capitalism is not that great as we are already seen the richer is getting richer and the poor is getting more poor.
@@imdjlight Are you kidding? The Biden administration caused, facilitated and nurtured the inflation occurring. Only 479 days ago we were energy independent, did you forget? Government stepping in and taking their share is not the solution, you're being lied to.
In Oregon- regulatory fees and permits for an apartment is around 40.000 dollars alone and thats before you even poke a shovel in the ground. so a duplex now will cost 600.000 to build- so what do you think the rent will have be to even break even on the investment.?
Predatory landlords need to be charged for robbery. SSDI people can't find any homes because rent is so high. I believe that rent should be set in Milwaukee based on the amount of bedrooms and not what the landlord wants because the mortgage is 3 times lower than rent.
I live in California and a 1bd rental will cost you anywhere from $1,700 -$2,000 average! I understand landlords are trying to get back rent they lost during pandemic but charging these prices are ridiculous! If have of your paycheck goes to rent how are supposed buy food and pay our bills!!! ( Mrs Garcia) wife of Raul
Raising Rent Is A Owners Prerogative But Is It Greed Or No Common Sense?? Wages Aren't Keeping Up With Inflation!! Gas Food Plus Rent Equals A Large Group Doubling Or Tripling Up In A Home In Some Cases Just To Not Become Homeless 😐
HOMELESS SHELTER HERE I COME
Rent is up every where
Sadly even in the hoods the rent is $1300
You got to be kidding me

Agreed our house price increase almost 2 fold
More homeless people
thanks Biden!
How it's Biden fault? I'm a landlord and decided to go up 30% because someone is willing to pay for it ... that's capitalism for you
