What are your thoughts with the new Tyme supporter coming in surging sparks with this? I've been trying to find a viable excuse to use it cause it looks like a fun supporter.

draw 4 is pretty solid but its super risky cause you have to say the name of the pokemon. it would be a good meme tho, like ultra ball for banette ex and use tyme and put down the baby banette or something. at first i didnt realize you had to say the name of the pokemon but since you have to tell them they should have a 50/50 shot to get it right. thats also assuming you dont have to say if its an ex or radiant or regular cause i think they would always get it right in that case. maybe its more of a poltergeist angle and they either risk drawing more trainers or you get 4 cards. its unfortunately not gonna be a good card but i think banette or a mill deck would be the only decks it would make any sense

Interesting. The poltergeist angle was what I was looking more from. I might include one in mine just for memes tbh lol

I'm thinking its probably best as a closer (i.e. regidrago's kyurem) but it's still worth a shot for sure

I think Venemoth Froslass set up is quicker than this deck, and it seems that this deck is prone to deck out pretty quickly

Moth only has 90 hp tho and froslass is too underpowered/unreliable compared to munkidori, zam spread and gardi / banette attacks. And you will never deck out unless u missplay (u got 5 ionos and u dont have to refinement every turn ones u've set up)

ive got to try the venomoth more but the banette being able to tank a hit is the biggest advantage of it. definitely have to be careful with resources with this one cause ive gotten really close to decking myself out a few times lol

Been having a blast with this list, and finalizing it for irl. I think the new ssp rotom is gonna be a fun 1 of since we already run the luminous soon too >:)

i think ill end up playing it at my next cup or challenge too. that rotoms a cool idea too, could allow the deck to go aggressive sooner without having to worry about the opponent popping off

@@sixpokemanstcg my biggest fear playing it is I never know when to start taking prizes or swing with gard and being able to chuck 2-3 rare candies and stretchers away as assurance before that would be really helpful since so few decks play pidgeottos or multiple dusclops. Optimal maybe not but it'll be funny !

it definitely seems like a strong card, i didnt even realize it did that until you pointed it out and cant wait to mess with it now. itll be a good meme at the very least lol. knowing when to stop item lock and start taking prizes is the hardest part for me too. i tend to play it safe as long as time isnt an issue

It depends heavily on the matchup, against lugia u lock only till u got gardi for the most part. Against zard all game, even ones they set up a zard (try to lock something in active while taking more ko's on small mons), all the up until u can take out zard with mew and iono same turn. Against bolt its very simple, u lock until u can go ahead in prizes, so if they are at 5 and u at 6 but can take 2 this turn, go ahead and stay ahead, if they are at 4 and u at 6 item lock until u can outtempo them. Regidrago item locks is super important, depending on ur board figure out how what prize maps are available to them, but the same principle stands: item lock until u can outtempo them without much room to he punished. While its easy to take u time online, 50min the deck plays quite different, since the deck takes a very long time and opponent sometimes take while to come to terms that they just have draw pass for a while they end up eating away at the clock as well, so constantly keeping and eye out when you can affored to go aggressive and setting up early checkmatrs is super important! sometimes depending on how comfortable u feel about the matchup, u might wanna scoop very early if things don't go your way. Love the deck but its rly hard to play with time restrictions imo
