Its Christmas. always expect the unexpected. thank you and a very merry Christmas to you and your family. many thanks for commenting as they are always very my appreciated. take care Tony.
Amazing work, Tony. Not only in the attention to detail, but the reinforcing, such as turning the chimney stays and plinths into a linking board like rebar to reinforce and strengthen the chimney for a sturdier product. Beautiful result! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas Anthony & Joyce. Thank you for all your support. its been a hoot as they say. take care and will shall see you on the telly in 2025. all the very best Tony.
My favourite bit of the build? All of it Tony, and finally seeing your ideas coming to tuition. Great inspiration to all us railway modellers. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours Tony.
Awesome, thank you! Alan. My favourite bit was fitting the chimney pots as the final touch. phew now onto the next thing. Have a very merry Christmas. Best wishes to you and your family. many thanks for commenting as they are always very my appreciated. take care Tony.
Magnificent Tony, its totally transformed that area and the long view from SSS. Best bits - the integration station to both underpasses and the lift ( the detail in those mini scenes too). So well planned and talented to have the forethought to do it like that - thinking back to building the framework to accommodate this all those years ago….. hope you had a great day, all the best Stephen
Oh by far the canopy T,your patience shows no bounds,I think you might find yourself on “ The national treasure list “ for 2025.....😬Happy Christmas 🎅🏻🤶🏻to you both
Hello David. i agree the canopy was my favourite part even when it took forever to do. well that would be great to be up there with the greats like Charles Dickens & Winston Churchill etc. Have a great Christmas, best wishes to you and your family. all the best Tony.
Hi Tony, phew, just in time for Christmas! I have enjoyed the build from start to finish, I really enjoy the way you go about things and the finish you get in the end is so good! I’m really looking forward to the bus garage build next year, it’s something I’ll need at Exehaven. Thank you for your kind generosity Tony, that was a lovely surprise, Happy Christmas to you and Mrs T from all of us here, cheers Tony, John
Hello John, merry Christmas my friend. yes its been a journey and a half. i did not want to continue into the new year with Tyne Dock. so i spent most of christmas eve finishing of this build with only chimneys and painting to do. it just had to be done. so now all i need to do is just weather the facia. and maybe give the dog a drinking bowl. yep Sids dog will have its own drinking bowl...and that's it happy new year for another build. As for the gifts your are very welcome my friend. stay safe and hopefully we will catch up in 2025...all the best Tony.
Epic you were right about that Tony. You wore me out watching you 😂. The view along the station is stunning and the finishing of the chimneys was my favourite part because it let you know the build was nearly finished. The glazing strips was something else wow, many thanks for sharing this it just leaves me to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year. 🥃🎄
Merry Christmas. what a way to finish the year. I am just glad that i can now put Tyne Dock behind us. well not quite. thanks again for supporting the channel. all the best Tony.
It is amazing that this project has taken that long as, bit by bit, I have enjoyed the updates and progress along the way. So good again Tony of course. Here's wishing you a fab Festive time. Cheers, Warren :)
Hello Warren my friend. I bet your having a well earned rest after all those hick's and walks this year. Thank you again for your kind words of support. have a great Christmas, Best wishes Tony....
Hi Tony, you finished it right before Christmas, well done. You created another masterpiece, a true piece of art. I enjoyed watching every part of the build! I would like to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! And, of course, I'm looking forward to watch the next project come together in the new year. Regards, Paul
Merry Christmas Paul. Thank you for your kind words. and thank you for supporting this channel. have a great christmas and we shall see you in the new year. many thanks Tony.
A superb job as usual. It all looks very impressive. If I had to choose a favourite part, it would have to be the chimney stacks, I really like the way they turned out.
Thanks for this, Tony. My favourite part... Well not a part really. But it was watching your draw up a plan and then seeing your vision turn slowly into the final structure... Fascinating!!! Finally Nadalik Lowen to you and Mrs T from here in cloudy, wet and warm Cornwall.
Merry Christmas to you Ken and your family. many thanks for all your support throughout 2024, maybe we can do it all again next year. stay safe my friend. Tony.
Hi Tony, Merry Christmas, you are an absolute genius with your scratch building of this and all your buildings on the layout. I think I liked all the videos, but especially when all the parts start to come together into a whole finished building. Thanks so much for your content, look forward to everyhting you do next year. All the very best Dave.
Christmas morning station re-opening, with a bit of Kings College carols on the gramophone and a Bucks fizz 🎅 Watching this epic build has been great fun. Happy Christmas to you and the family Tony. Thanks for all your videos.
Congratulations Tony! A real masterpiece! The whole build has been fascinating. I'm looking forward to the bus depot. Favourite part? Difficult, but interiors always capture my imagination and obsession!!!! Once again, Merry Christmas.
Hello Peter. Thank you for your kind words. its been a pleasure to share this build. the ups and downs and in outs. but yes we have ended up with a very striking building. Thanks again for all support. Merry Christmas and best wishes to you and your family...cheer's Tony.
Hi Tony. Merry Christmas mate. Well done, you finished off the station nicely, a superb build throughout. My fave part was seeing the interiors being done, not obvious from outside, but they look great when viewed from just outside the windows. A necessary attention to detail. All the best. Brian @ The Angels
Hi Brian, my friend. * Merry Christmas * I Am just glad the build is now over. just a few tiny finishing touches here and there. so on with the next one in the new year. stay safe and all the best Tony.
Love it mate; favourite part of the build was the canopy glazing as it reminded me of the pain I went through doing similar for my model of Bacup (was in Oct 2014 issue of BRM in case you are curious). Well worth the effort. I totally get the love of creating buildings, been working on a model of Sandside station building myself, 14 months in and it's nearing completion. Biggest challenge I faced was that there was no suitable embossed stone available (4mm) so had to hand scribe it into Plastikard. Sounds tedious but really enjoyed it, as it meant I could get all the lintels, sills, quoins, etc., where they should be without compromise.
Absolutely. it may seem like pain. but when you work through it and look back then its becomes all worth while. thank you for commenting. Merry Christmas and all the best. cheer's for now Tony.
Thank you Stefan, its been a pleasure to share my experiences of these build. merry Christmas and Best wishes to you and your family. many thanks for commenting as they are always very my appreciated. take care Tony.
