Hand #1 is fascinating. Doubling in the passout seat is probably automatic but if EW don't compete to the 4-level, they lose the hand anyway because declarer can guess where the heart shortness is and pick the right finesse.
I love your videos, Tony. I just watched your 3 year old one on Bridge Base Online and am interested in trying online. I noticed they played transfers with a weak NT opening in the ‘Acol’ group. My question is really in two parts: Is it now normal to play transfers? How can you find out what conventions people online are using before you start playing with them? Thank you
