    Hand #1 is fascinating. Doubling in the passout seat is probably automatic but if EW don't compete to the 4-level, they lose the hand anyway because declarer can guess where the heart shortness is and pick the right finesse.

    I love your videos, Tony. I just watched your 3 year old one on Bridge Base Online and am interested in trying online. I noticed they played transfers with a weak NT opening in the ‘Acol’ group. My question is really in two parts:
    Is it now normal to play transfers?
    How can you find out what conventions people online are using before you start playing with them?

    In the first hand, couldn't West have doubled immediately?

    I'd double 2H as east on hand number 3.
