- An original piece of orchestral music in a Spanish style.
The score to the film inspired me to adventure outside of my comfort zone into 'Spanish' music, which takes advantages of different scales, harmonizations and chordal movement in a way which few other 'genres' do. Enjoy!

Wow man is there no genre you can't tackle! I wouldn't know where to start with something like this. And as you do, you cram so many ideas in a couple of minutes of highly energetic music! Your fingerprints are all over it. Very VERY clever work Stuart! :)
Ah thankyou so much paul! This was mostly a trial to make sure I can cover the style. Not much too it than using the correct 'spanish' instruments (accordian/steel string guitar/perc). Then you look at the theory side. After studying the ferdinand soundtrack, it occured to me that once you find the spanish rhythms, it was was just chord extensions - 7ths 9ths etc and exploiting the V-I cadence in minor keys that throws you straight into the back streets of spain. Then throw a little decoration on top with turns etc. By far the most fun I've had writing a piece in a while - do you fancy a crack at it? I'd love to hear what the master himself can summon.
Woah... I love it! The theme and everything!
Thankyou serenity!
--- and you mastered this task too in an excellent way!
