    You and one more diver are killing it, it’s a toss up between you two men Dan MacMahon is the other diver that is almost the same as you but different spear guns and power heads but both are skilled and awesome divers. Love your videos

      Thank you sir for the kind words. I don’t post anything any longer or even video any dives. Everything you see here is at least 5 years old. I still dive, maybe more then ever. I just don’t post anything. Thank you again for the kind words

    Nice video. Can’t wait for the northern gulf season to open soon. Found a patented retractable reel called “Reel Spearing” from Plante’s Innovations. I have one and you will never touch another shaft line again. Unbelievable product. With speed and efficiency that you have it would only make things easier.
    Great video. Put more up.

    Bitchin" Bro! Tore them up... you are excellent at what you do. I know that you have a problem with sharks from time to time. I like the comment you made about valuing your life more then some. You are a long way from help and taking out a few aggressive bulls to keep the Bill's paid and not getting attacked is a small price to pay. Stay careful and take out a few more of them sharks. Way too many out there now.

    What caliber are you using and why trying to figure out which one to buy

    • @WillyK51
      @WillyK51 3 года назад +2

      Most common and ammo plentifull .38-357 Mag. You could up to 12 Ga. But you cant shoot goliats, sharks big enough for 12 Ga. A must is properly sealed ammo. Reloads might let water in unless you seal primer and neck with nail polish or crazzy glue

      @@frankcuba5231 Welcome MI Amigo. Pay close attention to Dann McMahons design. I thinker and they look self made. The way he ataches It seem like a rubber sleve inserted in the rear that slides onto the tip of the spear by friction. And the whole 2 part bang tip comes undone by friction to reload a shell. The forward part stays in the fish head some times. I doubt he will share as for legal lyabilities. Mybe a local gunsmith or machinist can make one. The ones the sell have one or two safety pins. Bit akward when in a rush, but I droped a spear and it went of . Bit deaf since

    mrputridinnards , question from a commercial spearo. Why do you use the elbow length gloves? I’m guessing you either want more arm protection from sharks, fins, rocks and takers or you are using what you have. My guess is the former since I’ve seen other commercial guys wear them. Just seems like it would be annoying.

    • @mrputridinnards
      @mrputridinnards  3 года назад +1

      I’ve been using these gloves since 2006. They’re not quite elbow length but mid forearm. Everyone that’s ever tried them now uses them
