The 4070 ti super will have 4gb more vram than the 4070 ti, but the vram on the rest of the cards will be the same in terms of vram as thier non-super counterparts
Ah yes, the super cards barely being more powerful than their originals and some having more VRAM, which the originals should've had to begin with. SUCH a game changer. That's the problem when people start normalizing $800-1,200 for NVIDIA GPUs that also only have 12-16GB of VRAM at those price ranges. Where's the value at? A 4080 giving you about 50% more performance with 60% more VRAM sounds good until you see that it costs like twice as much or more as what you can get a used 3080 for. That's not a generational upgrade, that's just paying more to get an equal performance increase. Remember when new generations of GPUs actually gave better performance while also actually being better value too? I feel bad for the people who paid $800 for a 4070 Ti. $800 for 12GB of VRAM is unacceptable but the normal consumer has been trained and manipulated to think that that's ok. For that much money I expect to get a card that will last for 4-5 years, but even at 1440p or some newer games at 1080p, 12GB of VRAM will not be sufficent for probably more than another couple of years unless you're just playing indie or esports titles, which you wouldnt need a card in that price range to begin with to have a competitive experience in those titles.
Another great video, mate! I'm sticking with my 4080 (MSI Suprim X), especially since I got it for "only" $1000 about 6 weeks ago. I game at 1440p, so the 4080 will handle anything I want to play for the next 2-3 years.

For AMD the AMD 6800 was on a brief sale for $350 it has 16GB vram and is faster than the RTX 3060 but it’s olny good for gaming. If planing to do VR it may not perform the best. My suggestion would be RTX 3060 12GB for value and stability. Also it still be supported for another 5 years anyways. Now for power supplies. It’s been tough lately as the parts for them gone up which is passed on to the consumer. Ideally you would not want to cheap out on them. I would say for this build you can get away with the 650 watts. But I do argge that 750 watts has future proofing. On Amazon there is 750 watt Thermaltake Smart BM3 for $80. I was going to wait till 50series/8k Series, but the 4070ti Super with a larger bandwidth and VRAM is a good sell if its the same price ( or cheaper) vs the current 4070ti. However, if the 4080 Super is the same die as the 4090, I will get that instead. Would be upgrading from a 6700xt on an UW, which is why I'm considering the upgrade.
It will be like 5% increas in performance compared to the regular 4080, as long as it beats 7900 XTX, Nvidia wouldn't be nice enough to give your anything more than an XTX at that price range.
I know this video is a month old, but I don't think we are getting 20Gb VRAM with the 4080 Super. If the 4080 Super has similar price to the 7900 XTX, I will consider it. If the price difference is over 50-60$, I am going for the 7900 XTX (~940$) which has equal rasterization to the 4080 and 24Gb of VRAM.

4080 seems kinda pointless to me. If your budget is that high you might as well go for the 4090, and if it's not the 70 tier cards offer wayyy better value. The 4080 will only make sense if they bring the price down to (or preferably below) £1k.
I sold my rx7600 because it couldn’t keep up with my 4k oled. Now I’m thinking for a replacement and the only thing kinda worth buying is 7800 xt or used 6800xt. I really want to see more attractive prices from team green. I kinda like the new 4070 ti super and I think it will be enough for decent 4k( with dlss) but I’m not sure if it’s going to be worth the wait :/

RTX 4080 was one of the worst selling GPU's in modern times. Nvidia will yet again get too greedy and charge a thousand pounds plus for a £600.00 GPU. Nvidia go do one. Too many have been burnt by your deliberate VRAM limitations and other tricks to artificially make their GPU's outdated fast (looking at you GTX 970 and RTX 3070). Oh, and the 1.4 DisplayPort trick on the RTX 4090. Buy AMD, ray tracing is overhyped and performs badly on almost all GPU's unless you want to spend £2000.00 on an RTX 4090. At least then you get 24 gig of VRAM for the less than the price of an RTX "4080" with an RX 7900 XTX... RTX 4060 is more like an RTX 4050, and the stack is artificially inflated as it is right now. I do not expect the new Super variants to improve the consumers lot.
@jesukxd8494 Not really. It just sums up that modern GPU s cannot do 4k that well. Why do you think, AMD, Intel and Nvidia use things like DLSS? To make up for the lack of power in their graphics cards.
@@Vonklieve Thats right, but because nvidia's dlls is better than intel or amd similar thing I will get more fps with it and best image quality. Thats why I will pay nvidia for their gpus instead of amd. I also don't need 4k gaming just high fps 2k gaming.

The 4080S is purportedly a 'massive' 5% gain and still 16gb?!....and we get all this for 1500-2000+ (CDN)?! Wow! 😅 We will not see 20gb. For todays games @ 1440, 16gb is the new minimum. Nvidia has taken a page from Apple for planned obsolescence, Nvidia: "Buy now and buy more often!" The 4k series is a bad joke that just keeps getting worse and worse, cant wait to see the insulting joke that will be the 5k series, its guaranteed.
Hype. The biggest jump will be the 4070 Ti Super going from 12gb / 192 bus to 16gb / 256 bus along with more cores and so on. The 4080 to 4080 super wont be that much of a jump
Game changer or not, I am not paying inflated prices to NVIDIA. They don't seem to care about the gaming/creator community now that they have dipped their fingers into the big AI computing pie. I will stick to AMD in the meantime. Despite the fact that they are also closely following that line, they at least don't cut us on VRAM for the price, don't cut their technology development to current gen only and don't make up questionable power connectors that would melt your PC down. I will wait to see what Intel would do with their GPU lines as well. Hoping that they would catch up in a few generations despite the ~2 decades setback of drivers development compared to their competitors.

If people cannot afford GPUs to offer reasonable performance on the latest generation games like Starfield then they will not be buying the latest titles reducing profits of the studios ...
Might sell my 7900xt for the 4080 super if the pricing is good. Would only be a tiny performance boost, but I have lots of issues with my current card in certain games that were never present on my old 2070 super.

I wont be upgrading my gpu for the next 3 gens. But I will keep my eye out
What GPU do you have
I was going to wait till 50series/8k Series, but the 4070ti Super with a larger bandwidth and VRAM is a good sell if its the same price ( or cheaper) vs the current 4070ti. However, if the 4080 Super is the same die as the 4090, I will get that instead. Would be upgrading from a 6700xt on an UW, which is why I'm considering the upgrade.
Me Same, minus using an UW.
I would wait to see what the bus size, because if that doesn’t change then it’s a marketing gimmick.
4080s is not using the same die as 4090. 4090 uses ad102 and 4080s will use ad103
@@P5YKOTIK1870 I'm sure you're right. It was RUMORED at first to have the same Die as the 4090 at one point.
Unfortunately, it seems like nothing except the 4090 is on the AD102 die.
It will be like 5% increas in performance compared to the regular 4080, as long as it beats 7900 XTX, Nvidia wouldn't be nice enough to give your anything more than an XTX at that price range.
I smell a war in the future because of these new nvidia gpu’s..
If the 4080 super is within 5% performance then it’s basically just margin of error.
Is it dumb to buy now a 4070 or should I wait?
Wait for these cards to be announced, it's only 30 days away.
As much as I'd LOVE to Try the 4070 TI Super at 16Gb, I do NOT Trust that Plug.... Nvidia can Keep their GPU's if they're gonna keep Using it until they get it Resolved.... For what they're asking Preicewise, I'm not Risking my Wallet on Nvidia's Up Coming Fire Sale.... 😁
Hoping to get the 4070 ti super for my build! 🤞🏻
This card would make me happy at 1440p but unfortunately I love to buy new series at launch so I was forced to go with 4080 but no regret about that.
I was planning on getting an RTX 4070 Ti as a christmas gift to myself, but maybe I'll hold off 👀
We can hold off a little longer, as we wait we also wait for Steam winter sales.
yeah waiting to see the super series come out and the prices
Why on earth did you buy a 7600 with 8GB of VRAM for 4k?
@@xJinRaGna He didn't, het got a 4k oled and realised he needed a gpu upgrade
Samsung 4K QN90 Gaming TV is much better and brighter; once you have tried it you will sell your dim OLED. QLED is so much better and has zero burn-in!!
Can someone help me sell toilet paper to Nvidia with 2.5, 2.7 and 2.9 layers? Roadmap for next year? 2.99 layers super titan ti edition. And in 2026 we will follow up with the super titan ti ultra and the super titan ti ultra x with 3! and 3.19 layers.
As long as gamers keep accepting 1440p and low v ram because of it nothing’s gonna change no time soon…. I only game in 4K period we always get bs smh it’s so much better especially for my eyes I can’t do 1440p Damn that, this v ram mess is awfull 😫
For that price i need the card to have double the performance of a rtx 4080.
I stay with my old RX 480 8gb and i am going xbox to start playing games, i dont need ultra 4k 144fps to play games.
I don't need 4k 144fps. I need 2k 240fps
The Super will be so expensive though...
I’m just waiting on the 50 series quite frankly the 5090
That's nothing , the 9090 is powering my time machine
I should probably just wait for the 5000 series, I do miss out on frame generation but my 3080 still does pretty well at 4K
This video aged like bad milk
I out for next few year. Early this year upgrade to 5800X3D got a bargain £220 new and a 7900XTX which did set me back £889 both cost less then what a 4080 would cost me at time in UK
The super 40xx GPU's are what should have been 40xx GPUS in first place so smells like a nice little cash grab and given the planned redundancy aka lack of Vram on some of there GPU iff at best
I happy I out of the upgrade game it be few generation of hardware both CPU and GPU before think about it and that will be a new socket and in effect a full rebuild good
I mad my bet and 7900XTX 24gb Vram is why with the 5800X3D sould be good now intersting to see which part CPU or GPU trigger the ugrade by thoughts are it will CPU in good few year time
4070 ti super just makes it the perfect GPU of the lineup tbh. If it comes out then I will switch back to Nvidia, if not, then I am happy with my 7800xt
Dude if you have Rx 7800 xt skip the generation and wait until rtx 50 series they way more generation improvement then the super refresh.
No FE version for it so no for me.
3-5% improvement for he 4080 super. That tells me there will be no 4090 ti.
Yo could u help me man I'm making my first pc and i need some help to tell if iv got good parts
Only 16GB on the 4080 Super? WTF Nvidia 🤬
how much does nvidia pay those mediaheads to market soon-to-be-retired models??
Just buy a 4090, simple.
Pretty much its getting to this. The 4090 is really the only gpu that will last a few more years without cutting down settings as much, Alan wake 2 makes the 4090 shake a bit, So if thats the case you know what it will do to 4080 and lower ..
i will go for 4070 super, should be enough for 2024, gta 5 should then demand 16gb vram
u mean gta6?
Last bit of click bait i can take from you mate. Youve lost a subscriber and viewer
So if the supers are coming out there's no point in buying a standard 4070?
Nvidia is only doing this to lower the prices on the non super card without having to back down and say that they were wrong.
I will still buy the 3090 used so i get enough Vram to get Ultimate AI preformance.
Why did the 4080 not come with 20 gbs v-ram when it launched. 4080 Super 5% more performance still rather stick with 4090. 24 gbs v-ram is very nice
Yup I already have my 4090 build.
Yea I need more v ram 😅 20+ gb would be great
@@Mr_CopaceticGamer what is your current build or budget?
@@MrAnimescrazy rtx 3080 evga ftw 10gb I mean it’s getting the job done, but I’m looking into a 4080 however, my birthday is in January, so I’m considered waiting on the 4080 super, idk I almost pulled the trigger on the RTX 3090 just because of the 24gb of v-ram 😫😅
@@Mr_CopaceticGamer it all depends on when the 4080 super releases it could be early next year but you will have to try to get one immediately. I wouldnt want to do that because it can be annoying constantly trying to buy one. I would buy the 4080 now and what about the other specs? Will the build be all black or all white or black and white?
If Nvidia does a fair price amd will drop the price and be the better value as usual
Just buy a 4090 and don’t play this game with nvidia
and cmon Nvida why same amount of cuda core as 3080ti 🤬
I'm waiting for the official comparisons
The rtx 4070 ti super with 16gb vram sounds good if the price is right
That one might be worth considering if the price is around $600. Other wise skipping.
But nvidia offers dlss. Its must have.
I am already good with my first all white full tower build with the gigabyte aero oc 4099/ 7800x3d/ 64 gigs of ddr5 ram. I will be looking at comparisons and build videos but I am really waiting on the 5090 and the next x3d and cpus to see how much of a jump that will be compared to what I have now.
lets hope AMD can Make the R9 8900X3D and 8950X3D Much Better and work like the 800x3d but obvi better cuz they're the 2 higher skus.
@@mikko4234 i put the purchase on my credit card. The pc cost 4,200 + dollars which is a lot of money and I may upgrade some stuff. I am paying on the pc monthly and I am paying a little bit over the monthly cost so I can get it paid off in a year. I wanted the best of the best so I don't have to worry about running any game at any native resolution. Now I usually play at native 2k and native 4k at high settings with or without ray tracing. For the unoptimized games and unreal engine 5 games I wait a few months until they are patched then I buy em.
First like lol
Is the 4080 ti still better than the 4080 super?
👊
I made it early to the video, love your vids fam. Your channel literally taught to me to build my own pc!
Sounds like you did all the hard work! How did it go?
@@PcCentric it went great thanks to you. It boot up on the first try too
Game changer or not, I am not paying inflated prices to NVIDIA.
Im going for the 4080 super if it is 1000 bucks because Im looking at the 7900 xtx but my preference is Nvidea. So the 4080 super should be the same performance with the same price in my country
Hi pc centric after watching your builds I am in the process of buying everything I need to build my own I have got the Asus x670e-f motherboard the Ryzen 7 7800x3d CPU what GPU would you recommend to go with it I have a budget of about a grand this will be going in the Lian li o11 dynamic razor case mant thanks.
I am going to wait until 4070 super come out as looking to upgrade my gpu from 2070 super 👌
I would consider the RTX 4070 super to be the RTX 4060 TI super. Therefore I would not pay more than $400 for it.
After a while, I got tired of waiting for Nvidia and got the RX 7900 xtx when it was 'on sale'.
When adjusted for inflation, it was roughly the same price of a 1080 ti in 2016.
Kopite (the leaker) or whatever and every other outlet is reporting 16Gb mem on the 4080super. No word of a 20Gb variant since rumors in Oct.
ad102 US export ban to china, so 4080super will be a maxed out ad103 chip
How much is the current exorbitant pricing of mid to height end GPUs holding back the gaming studios development ?
If people cannot afford GPUs to offer reasonable performance on the latest generation games like Starfield then they will not be buying the latest titles reducing profits of the studios ...
Might sell my 7900xt for the 4080 super if the pricing is good. Would only be a tiny performance boost, but I have lots of issues with my current card in certain games that were never present on my old 2070 super.
been watching your videos for a few weeks now but im wondering if you help people out with their builds?...im thinking of buying a pc from scan and asking them to build it for me (not the best at it myself) but id like to know if the parts im buying would fit well together or would i have to change 1 or 2 items??? - or could i just post the parts on here and ask everyone their opinion?
I think the only thing will be super is the price 😂
😂😂😂 4k for the super incoming
Yo centric yreat video. Could ya do a review on a company called Aftershock PC as im interested in the pcs they built. Thanks for the vid😊
I love the builds bro 👊
5% = game changer….sounds about right lol was the I9 14900k CPU a game changer? No I don’t think so.
Pricing will be ridiculous as usual.
To be fair 4080 super might match the xtx but not beat it in raster don't forget that xtx with Ryan can use smart access delivery but I'm not really interested in any since i use 4090 and 7900 xtx
I am not much of a pc gamer but I like cyberpunk 2077 and the RTX better than the 7900 xtx and xt @ 1080p and 1440p

:)
3% game changer
Damn i just bought a 4080 😭
Return it.
return or keep it?
Return it
There's literally 5% performance gain don't worry about it.
If it plays every game you want to play for the next 24 months, which it will, then you have nothing to worry about. 5% is not going to make a meaningful difference to you.
Nice video👊🏻
Nvidia charges way too much for minor performance upgrades.
Ill stick with my 7900xtx which to date slaps the 4080 😂
Better performance at the same price point 😂 😂 this is Nvidea they will raise the price too
