I predict these two ladies, with this format, asking smart and important questions about big issues, with top quality guests like this gentleman will do well. They first will conquer RUclips, then the Internet, and with a little luck, the world. If you haven't realized this before now, remember you heard it first from a very observant, total stranger. You're welcome.

This is the second video I've seen. Putting intelligent men in between two young blondes with low cleavages does not result in a good conversation. I won't be bothering to listen, and I go to RUclips to listen, not watch. Again. Bye ladies.

59:18 *🔇 Fear of repercussions, including job loss, leads to self-censorship among academics, particularly in contentious areas like criticism of social justice movements.*
01:00:52 *🤣 Humor and satire are valuable tools in addressing ideological extremism, but institutional reforms are necessary for lasting change.*
01:02:40 *🌐 Online platforms provide spaces for alternative viewpoints to flourish, countering institutional gatekeeping and promoting independent thinking.*
01:04:21 *🔄 The current "awokening" mirrors earlier waves of political correctness, with similar ideologies advocating for equal outcomes and emotional safety, now more pervasive due to social media.*

01:08:12 *😄 Cultural socialism, akin to "woke" ideology, can diminish cultural richness by restricting humor and enforcing limitations on acceptable targets for jokes.*
01:09:33 *📱 Eric Kaufmann invites viewers to engage with him on Twitter (@epkaFM) and announces the upcoming release of his book "Taboo" on June 20th, available for pre-order on Amazon.*

I do believe that we're running very low when it comes to providing strong incentives to high academic achievement.
On one side, we have this highly addictive virtual social networks and smart phone apps competing for students' shorter attention spans, while , on the other side, there's this hesitancy, almost fear, when it comes to framing behaviour in ethnically and culturally diverse schools perhaps due to some sort of awareness that that might be viewed as racism or prejudice against minorities.
There's this risk that toleration (or tolerance) might be veering into permissiveness and thus promoting lower academic standards.
I know this might be debatable yet at least at face value, this lowering of academic standards seems to be detrimental to all students.

I think the most difficult thing that we in the west will need to come to terms with, is the fact that this situation has ALREADY progressed too far for us to ever recover. Truthfully we'll just need to have a cultural shift where we either embrace it or splinter into smaller nation states. But the idea of (for example) a multicultural US or Britain that in any way resembles what we once were, is impossible. Our nations and cultures were unique creations, emblematic of the people who created them. You can't just dump a load of outsiders into that and expect it to work, any more than you could with any other system. This is where the joke about "magic soil" comes from.

Politicians often don't do what they promise because they can't. Eg. their need to keep the economy buoyant means staying internationally competitive and attractive to inward investors means keeping wages low means liberal immigration policies. The problem isn't national, it's global. Time to wake up!

    • @grannyannie2948

Which is why the people are rising against globalisation, we're over it. We want a return to nationalism and closed borders. In my country migrants are going back to their own country. Constant immigration has reduced our standard of living so much that they feel they have more opportunities in the third world countries they came from.

Women are less empathetic than men. Women are more compassionate than men.
Empathy is the ability to feel what another is feeling.
    Compassion is caring for others.
However, empathy is extremely hit and miss, you may well think you can feel what another is feeling whilst the other is in fact feeling something very different to what you imagine.
While compassion is a signal to a tribe that you are caring, useful and non-threatening.
