@@marcus1970 Uhh nah, Beats and Bose may be shite but B&O truly is amazing, design wise and sound wise but maybe too expensive. Have you even heard the B&O systems with the acoustic lens in Audis?
Remember when you announced with such overblown cliffhanger melodrama that you were going to do drifting. Did you mean drifting cars or drifting away from your subscribers? Feels like the latter to me.

agreed, i've had the mk2 cupra, the 280, 290 and cupra r 300, now i have the formentor vz2 and will probably get the facelift formentor.
Virtual cockpit was added to those cars first which didn’t have the centre navigation system. All their other cars minus the TT and R8 have a normal navigation system, to not have this would be ridiculous would it not? How would you use half the systems on the car without this, voice commands...yeah no thanks. If you want to test a normal car perhaps research things more and it’s not a new brand it’s a subsidiary of SEAT, this car isn’t new it’s just a standalone brand, this is essentially the SEAT ateca R if we are to compare with with the VW equivalent

This is a REALLY good review guy’s! The way you guy’s present appeals to the average car buyer as opposed to some of the other pretentious reviews we see from more other established car reviewers. That Cupra does look good though!😀

What's so complicated about the equaliser? You have the bass on the left and high tones on the right or I don't know how it's called in english but you get the point.
Yes the OPF filter has ruined it..haha. we have opf off solutions and tuning though🔥

Set the equaliser like a smile
The farts and burble is the same in a Golf R Estate, very subtle. Remove the resonator and it comes alive great, but not annoying. And its only in Sport/Race mode. It gives some bad resonating sound at 2,5k rpm, but there is a version made in the UK that can solve that. They just havent made it for the estates yet. Look up BCS Powervalve.
Hey, for me the sound quality is the best when you imagine ( from left to right ) like a "V" left almost up up and right also up up in the middle like under the middle line

9:00 onwards for the exhaust sounds
your stereo system shows the frequency of the bass mids and treble in hertz which is what sound is measured in but I think you have some extra nobs there like low mids and high mids

I am literally picking up my Cupra Ateca in 2 hours. Biggest decision to let go of my Golf R, but unfortunately kids are getting bigger. Love the looks of the car though. Does not sound as fun inside as the golf r though, but then that was always fake sound. This exhaust is better but an akrapovic would have been much more better (apparently coming in the special edition for next year). As for the branding, not new but they have currently broken away to make their own cars. First fill model will be the Cupra Formentor coming next year. Anyway, thanks for the video, loved it.
A while later......So how was/is it? I'm picking up the 2.0 litre next year(lease) 0.60 4.9 seconds, and mpg 29ish

Great car to drive.. won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but personally like it
thanks for this, i'd never heard of Seat or Cupra before. found a random vid about equalizers on here. basically left side is low/bass, right side is high/treble and mid is well mid. these are the frequencies the ear can hear and this one is pretty basic. the notches up and down are db or decibel. you check those on your exhaust stuff. if you drop the bass under 0 you'll hear more mid for example. they all affect each other. it's a good tutorial. ruclips.net/video/tsDfKk4YNrg/видео.html is the video. i spend too much time arranging my speakers and stereos to maximize the sound because it is important to me. edit to add a human can hear frequencies between 20 Hz up to 20,000 Hz. Good earphones will utilize this range. this cars equalizer is pretty limited but play around by dropping levels down below 0 too.
I have a Cupra 300 and when you down change over 3.5k then cracks and pops the best 👌🏻

The cupra name has always been the top of seat sports driving feeling like the R-models in volkswagen so would think that I would have hope that it was fast and fun to drive Even that I never would buy a VAG car ever because I feel that they are a bit boring

The ateca cupra I'm getting is the 2.0 litre with panoramic roof and quad exhaust, I believe start button isn't on the steering wheel, I'm from uk

I got a brand new golf r and it sounded the same as yours until I did around 6-7k miles before it got really loud with pops and bangs so give it a chance to open up

They aren't new cupra has always been part of seat they just made it more exclusive in 2019. In 2018 they tamed the sound by putting a gpf ppf in them Get stage 1 and opf ppf delete then it becomes an absolute monster!! My 2019 Leon cupra is punching 382bhp with loud bubbles pops crackles farts etc its worth doing

It’s not a new brand... Cupra has been around for decades .... when seat partnered with Porsche for their Ibiza model... google it 😉 about 20 years ago.... my ex wife had a seat Leon cupra... seriously fast cars always have been ... maybe it’s a re branding but it’s not new ... so please redact your info and research it a little better 👍🏻

Its just a fancy seat.. its like DS for Citroen..

The CUPRA Ateca is literally only a SEAT Ateca with 300 bhp... Only the design of the logo and interior were changed, as well as a new body kit.. except for that ist has all it's design from the SEAT Ateca

@@mikekelly2446 After 2000-3000 miles it started getting noticable, ive now just covered over 9k miles since january and the pops and bamgs are very noticable and frequent in sports/cupra mode :)
@@conor9530 oh wicked, that's what I was hoping to hear. Mine has 700 miles on it and I swear I can hear really muffled little pops that were not there at first so hopefully that's a good thing. Cheers mate.

I don't like the way they have spun the cupra briand off as a design briand. Reminds me of the DS. It feels hipster, and is very apple feeling.
