Matt Pat has a really great voice for Bendy, i’m very happy that you decided to choose him for Bendy in the first musical... he does a phenomenal job and you guys always do such an amazing job picking the right people for musicals… I’m always so so impressed and i’m always blown away by the incredible things you guys can do. I’m always just so amazed and impressed with what you guys come up. Keep up the amazing work :-)

Matt has one of those voices that is just so iconic, yet very malleable and perfect for just about any setting! I love seeing all this process of each take for the lines of the song! I've always been a sucker for stuff like this

My favourite line in the song. The way he sings it in the final version is so delightfully matter-of-factly. If there ever was a perfect line to demonstrate Mat's acting abilities, this is it.

I really like seeing AJ's more director side with this type of video, dudes a mad composer too! And if we keep following Bendys storyline, Alice is coming up next and I'm REAAALLYY hoping Gwen plays her and her and Mat have a duet of some sort.

It actually was needed as that character ruined Help Wanted for me. I loathe the character and anyone who stands by the misinformation that revolves around it, as I received threats and harassment over trying to clarify the truth.
TL;DR, I hold a massive grudge against the FNaF community.
The Meatly should really cast matpat as bendy, I'm still waiting

Considering cartoon bendy was never given a voice actor and stuff I’d assume he’d just be silent like boris is who also had no voice actor

I love all the rewinding/etc effects that go with the animation to keep it in sync with the recording. All the tangents that they go on is always great, too. Love it!
Edit: Oh no! We didn't get to see ANY takes of the dialogue after the song has finished!

This was really enjoyable to watch! (And not just because of the cameo from a cute toddler.) I really like these recording videos.
A lot of the time when we see things labelled "outtakes" or "bloopers," we usually see the funniest or most outrageous mistakes and interruptions. And when we see behind-the-scenes footage, we're often seeing what the successful take looked like from a different angle. But with these recording videos, we get to see the process of something good becoming something great. All of MatPat's performances are good, and it's interesting seeing the different acting/singing choices - all of which I think were valid - gradually leading to the finished product. It makes me more greatly appreciate the work that goes into these.
By the way, MatPat, thank you for getting up in the middle of the night to finish this. Those takes were well worth it.

MatPat did a pretty nice job reprising his role of Bendy. Kudos! It does make me wonder how RUclips's other well-known Bendy singer, SquigglyDiggs would have handled this ^ -^
(And don't forget to ask Chi-chi if you ever plan to bring in Alice Angel. I know Gwen's right there, but she IS Alice ^^)
Chi-Chi excels at the role of Alice, and I'd bet she'd be down for any RE musical.
Right? ^ -^ And again, nothing against Gwen, she's a doll. Chi-chi just has that certain air, I guess ^^
OR3O is a great Alice "All Eyes on Me" is one of her most iconic songs.

@@assassinmaster3419 also copyright with music is very strict, and visuals and stuff would be difficult. for that reason, Matpat said he couldn't do music theory. Honestly book theory, which would be my pick, also suffers from that problem, but I suppose he could use his little artworks of characters to tell the story? Really I don't know what he would choose. Gtlive is kinda of the fourth channel now, as shown in merch, but I would prefer another theory channel to finish the Quartet

I have a question: How did you and Matpat discover and decide to have him voice for your first Bendy musical?
Probably because he voiced bendy in the last bendy musical before this one.

We've watched Game Theory for years -- and worked with Matt several times as well -- so we already knew his voice would be perfect for playing Bendy. We honestly never even imagined any other voice but Matt's in this role (and are super glad he agreed to make a second Bendy song with us!)

Coming in on this very very late, but I loved this so much and it makes me want to get back into singing! Great job MatPat and Random Encounters team!
i love how you can so clearly tell he is/was a theater kid by his diction and also how expressive he is while singing. like it's kinda covered by the mic but in the og bendy recording it's a lot clearer
it's nice to see most of the recording and most of the bloopers + sometimes just talking instead of the recording + the best bloopers

A little detail I appreciated was that watching the cut tries Matpat took at the recording next to the finished animation, Matt’s voice syncs perfectly to the animation. It really shows how consistent his performance is, and his adherence to the musical writing

This is one of my favorite musicals! It’s so catchy and watching a 20 minute recording video of it makes me so happy!
