Loved the pod as always your details are on point knew I was going to enjoy this episode/s as soon as I heard the intro 🙌🏽 life after death would get my vote 🔥
If you guys are still wondering about who hurt Kurupt it was Ill Na Na Foxy Brown as they were an item for a few years and only ended when a certain DMX did a track (and a lot more) on Foxy’s second album called a dog and a fox! Kurupt talks about it with Noreaga on his Drinks Champ pod 👊🏽
@@crate808 ruclips.net/video/YHbGPb8QBJU/видео.html My bad it was this interview on The Breakfast Club where he breaks down the relationship from around the 16min mark, it's a good listen too especially the Death Row stories
Fell down a RUclips rabbit hole and ended up here lol I was only thinking the other day what's the best "rapping" performance ever! I still think it's Biggie on L.A.D. And funnily enough Nas on I.W.W. comes close, probably top 5 or at least top 10! I just can't think of anyone could do everything like Big could. As you mentioned he could rap on ANY track and make it his own and do what he liked. I have a really weird personal connection with Biggie's Music. Which I can't really explain on here without looking clinically fucking insane lol Even though Nas is my GOAT as you know. I still think Big is the true king and is the greatest "rapper" to ever live.
Yoooo you managed to jump into this debate - big up!! Yeah I can’t think of many better displays of actually rapping than Biggie on here, so I’m glad you’re with me! Nas is still classic, some unreal hidden gems on that album that need more shine
@@crate808 I'm still listening. It's quite the marathon lol but fully enjoying it. I realised recently there's some albums/artists I think we hold on to out of nostalgia. Rather than them being dope and timeless! But, Biggie & Nas do not fall into that category. I think both Big & Nas rapped better on these projects than their first offerings. But illmatic for me still that one!
Scholarly shit. Your music fandom and knowledge is a joy to behold, thank you.
The enthusiasm, camaraderie and detail in these episodes are sick. Keep them coming
I second this...
Thank you man, appreciate the love 👊 Lot of work doing these so the feedback means a lot - hold tight for more ✌️
