Hello, can you help us if you can please 😁
My wife and I just moved to a place for the rest of the year and we have to put ours trunk in a storage. ( for the moment at least )
Do you have any advice that would allow us to feel reassured in terms of protection against humidity & insects/specifically spiders etc…?
We were thinking of trying to make a wooden box with airtight seals to place the trunk inside, with anti-humidity beads.
Do you think this is a valid idea? if this is not the case what should we do in the situation where we are forced to keep it out of the house for several months.

That’s a good question ( I take it you live somewhere humid?)
The box sounds a great but costly idea
I once received a new trunk from LV in a wooden crate lined with polystyrene.
It hides ( the very desirable item inside) from ‘prying eyes’ and kept it safe and pristine on its long journey
The brass naturally oxidises in the enviroment so keeping it airtight should help
So sorry I can give you any concrete pearls of wisdom on this
