It is still unbelievable to me how all remaining copies of this Japanese CD with this song have been completely wiped from existence. I have never seen that happen before. All unsold copies must have been buried in a landfill somewhere.
I really love Soen, and I find the comparisons with tool normal, after all Tool is a band, not a genre. But this track really, really reminded me of The Pot, specially at the start.
So I greet you waking hour all this time you’ve turned so spiteful If I wronged you I regret it no forgiveness in your silence Order’s changed within our bloodline share the grief but leave the burden Tired from all fruitless efforts youngest eyes look up to hear me I can see your gaze has opened see you hear my inner longing Listen closely to the mantra message leads you into knowing Keep on turn it, keep on turn it downwards Keep on turn it down until you save me Keep on turn it over, turn it down Keep on turn on it down until you save me Words as clear just as if spoken voice of silence still it thunders Make the promise once they leave me I will give you back your freedom Keep on turn it, keep on turn it downwards Keep on turn on it down until I save you Keep on turn it over, turn it down Keep on turn on it down until I save you Keep on anything I do, you’re not there I don’t care who wants your staying Even though I told you otherwise, commonly you read my fortune you will try I will leave a token in your mind, soulless individual with no goodbye
why do the Japanese releases always get all the bonus tracks ? this is beginning to piss me off! not to mention all releases to vinyl are always either a cheap press - a heavy press - a heavy double press - or a wildly overpriced boxset with books and a cd which contains the bonus tracks... ????
but that's my whole point! if i want to listen to bonus tracks, i am forced to pirate or overpay for the product... as a vinyl fan, there is no other alternative for contemporary music
+Nikolai Bakken Not true. The bonus tracks are to keep Japan CD pressing plants in business. Their costs are higher, and without the bonus tracks, imports would be competitive.
You personally don't like it =/= "It's awful! Why would they do that?" This kind of stuff happens all the time in prog rock songs, e.g. Tool's The Grudge intro and many Undertow intros, Karnivool's Simple Boy, some Rishloo songs etc.
@@FairFuse Ok, fair enough. But, I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. I mean @ 5:41 onwards, with the static. If you're talking TOOL, it would be more comparable to Faaip De Oiad, which I do find annoying too... however, that's kind of a joke tune or wtvr. In this case I just think it's like "oh, cool outro, yeah...." then RIP my ears.
same tool voice, same guitar sound, same style, same artwork..same same… please SOEN go home. People if you like Tool please listen Karnivool a great band with their own sound.
This artwork is far better than anything Tool has ever done. Also, Joel sings way better than Maynard. I admit that in the first 2 Cd’s they do some rip offs of tool, but evolved pretty nicely. Karnivool is awesome, i’m tired of waiting for a new cd of them

The drummer of this band said tool is a genre and was a huge influence on their first album
Exactly!
That was literally the first thing I thought when I found this track on Spotify. Wonder WHY THE HELL this one is so unknown.
Perfect band, super melodic prog metal music! My favourite! I’ll give a 5stars.
This is basically The Pot in 6/4 (mostly) and I love it
Ye some parts do really sound like tool and I love it
I never knew about this song, even their b-sides are amazing!
So Damn Good!! I really love these guys!!!
I wish they would just release this track on Bandcamp as a stand alone single
another awesome tune!! :)
So I greet you waking hour
all this time you’ve turned so spiteful
If I wronged you I regret it
no forgiveness in your silence
Order’s changed within our bloodline
share the grief but leave the burden
Tired from all fruitless efforts
youngest eyes look up to hear me
I can see your gaze has opened
see you hear my inner longing
Listen closely to the mantra
message leads you into knowing
Keep on turn it, keep on turn it downwards
Keep on turn it down until you save me
Keep on turn it over, turn it down
Keep on turn on it down until you save me
Words as clear just as if spoken
voice of silence still it thunders
Make the promise once they leave me
I will give you back your freedom
Keep on turn it, keep on turn it downwards
Keep on turn on it down until I save you
Keep on turn it over, turn it down
Keep on turn on it down until I save you
Keep on anything I do, you’re not there
I don’t care who wants your staying
Even though I told you otherwise, commonly you read my fortune you will try
I will leave a token in your mind, soulless individual with no goodbye
Who are you to wave your finger.
When you wrote that comment, you must've been out your head.
Decent album logos 🙂
excelente
TOOL fans: Wait, where's Maynard?
Soen fans: Joel is a genius! (Sorry, Maynard.)
Great. What will be next?
Why do the Japanese always get extra tracks and we others dont? :(
Does anyone have the lyrics??

That's because in Japan they DON'T STEAL MUSIC on the internet.
but that's my whole point!
if i want to listen to bonus tracks, i am forced to pirate or overpay for the product...
as a vinyl fan, there is no other alternative for contemporary music
+evigklytteren The bigger reason is that most bands are unable to play in Japan, so they get an extra song as compensation
+Nikolai Bakken Not true. The bonus tracks are to keep Japan CD pressing plants in business. Their costs are higher, and without the bonus tracks, imports would be competitive.
Corporate America. They fuck every single artist for 85% of sales.
Could I be sent this song too, please..?
Very Tool sounding
Soen really made new music based off the band TOOL since they made the first album. It's called TOOL-esque Prog Metal.
it is labled its known as dessert metal as are tool and such
3;50? tool? copy?
'cause they pay more.
could you send me this song, please? send me a PM
Rofl
Awesome tune! But the ending is awful! Why would they do that?
I'm assuming is not just a ripping problem....
This really bothers me!

that like tool the pot
but that is better ;D
Yeah, eerily similar.
It is very similar structurally, but I always get oddly reminded of Opeth's "The Baying of the Hounds" by the main riff.

What the fuck are you talking about dude?
