Congrats on the job, that's pretty exciting. And I wish you luck with your new role in stablity ai, may this be the start of something great. Good luck to you Scott.
I've heard of one AIs called Bluewillow and been seeing some channels stating that it's better than Midjourney. I think that one deserves to be given a quick look.
Always great knowledge from you Scott. Would you be kind enough to mention your PC specs? For people who want to get started efficiently. Would really appreciate if you could suggest a budget build as well for people having limited budgets. Especially concerned about the affordable GPU and RAM, thanks!
I have a rig from newegg that came with a 3080 ready to go. In the past I made my own machine and all that, but at the of the day, the difference is like $100 and these machines come completed and with a warranty. To me, it no longer makes sense to build the PC unless it is something you really just want to do for giggles. It isn't hard at all, as the plugs all fit into only one hole, etc. I get it if you want a specific motherboard for some reason, but most of them are so similar I didn't want to keep wasting time looking and reading random reviews.
@@sedetweiler Thanks Scott! Really appreciate! So I've heard this from someone else as well that 3080 ti is a good GPU for stable diffusion. But my budget right now is for only 3070 ti.

@Scott Detweiler ....I am a relative newcomer to AI art generation. I first learned about it like 3 or 4 months ago seeing YT content on Midjourney. One of the most amazing images made with Midjourney that someone shared an image of somewhere I saw was that of a very organic looking large round home in the woods. It was probably made in Midjourney v3 or even v2. I don't remember much of anything about that epic image other than that because like I said, that was like my earliest knowledge of this type of art. My question to you is: *are you familiar with seeing such an image?* If yes, can you share a link to it? I tried generating a similar image in MJ but I haven't fared successful as of yet. I've gotten interesting results......but not anything like what I recall.
@@sedetweiler Thanks Scott! 🫂 I love your content because your excellent communication skills match your excellent approach of dumbing down instructions for dumdums like me to be able to follow. I've seen other content creators make content on installing forks like AUTOMATIC1111 but I was not able to follow their instructions because they seem to assume that everyone has basic programming skills. The problem with your well intended hopes of me getting my images as good as some amazing ones I've seen is that some people have much more familiarity with certain genres of films, TV series, games (I'm not a gamer at all), or other forms of media than me (for example). Therefore there may be certain styles of design that I'm completely clueless about and wouldn't even know how to even research it that might or could be used in the prompt that would get results that could otherwise be virtually impossible to describe in words other than referencing that style. I've seen many prompt descriptor styles that I've not ever heard of before and no idea what they look like because of that. But someone who is familiar with "artstation" (I only learned of this term through watching/reading AI art content ) would know what that style looks like........but I wouldn't unless I heard the term and was able to research enough to understand. The point being that it's not necessarily true that one can create prompts that will result in as good or better AI renders than others who have a much more diverse knowledge of styles seen in various games, etc. Anyway........I always look forward to your content!
I think a lot of those prompts are not useful. I don't use a single "trending on..." prompt, as I agree they are just nebulous. I also think that many of the designs on see on that site are easily beatable. You got this!
Hi Scott, thanks for the information, always really helpful! Can you clarify how to download the image zip file from the GIT, as it's not really clear from the video, in fact neither is how to run the script either. I've been keeping up with you so far! Thanks!
This is not insperetional. Do you know that will only worsen the situation for artists? Jobs like colourist, concept artists/visual develepment artists, artists who do commissions, artists who work making custom products, in-between animators, and even artist who do ilustretions are in danger because of this shitty AI art genereters.
The artists to study extension looks great, unfortunately there is no location of the zip file i could find on the git hub and the instructions were a little unclear.

Art is what the audience considers art. There's no virtue in toiling if it's not reflected in the result.
