  • Princess Catherine was recently spotted attending a dinner in London with her husband Prince William. She looked glamorous in an asymmetrical satin dress. The dress was likely custom-made for the occasion, and it fit her perfectly. The asymmetrical cut of the dress added a touch of interest, and the satin fabric shimmered in the light.

A thousand pound dress? That equates to $1235 (approximately) ins US dollars. And that is the price of just her dress. How many British citizens are barely making it by day-to-day? According to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, 22% of people in the United Kingdom, or 14.4 million people, were living in poverty in 2021/22. This includes 8.1 million working-age adults, 4.2 million children, and 2.1 million pensioners.

@k.alice- Have you ever taken into account, how many people financially survive because of the RF? People that draw, paint, photograph, own hotels, own restaurants, craftsmen, shops; that design, serve, and sell to tourists that come to England to see Buckingham Palace, the Royal Guard, etc. All hoping to catch a glimpse of someone in the RF. And don't forget, all of the employees of the RF. Oh, by the way, the RF does own some things that make a hefty personal profit for them. - However, I agree, their lifestyles are excessive. But, nobody would want to see a Princess wearing a potato sack!
