I personally know 3 people who had bowel reconstruction surgery, and they all had a very long and difficult recovery. One was on a totally liquid diet for 2 months. One got an infection and had to go back to the ER for a life saving procedure. One ended up with a colostomy. If it was this kind of surgery, it's no joke, it's very difficult. Luckily Catherine is very fit, which always helps in recovery. She just needs time, she will get better but it is a tough road. Blessings and peace to her during her recovery.

In hospital 2 weeks, home for 2 weeks, then back at work hairdressing after the 2 weeks at home, married with 2 young children. If I'd listened to my doctor I'd have been sat at home for a month. I personally had a disease gallbladder that was supposed to be a 5 to 10 minute operation but one out of five people end up having to have the full-blown 13 inch incision that requires a lot of stitches and tubes that are used to drain your body from the infection that’s inside your abdominal cavity after that, you are on tons of antibiotics I was in the hospital 10 days because that’s all my insurance would cover. I had to go home with drains and my family had to help me clean them daily. Now it took forever for all the abdominal muscles to be healed that were cut entering the abdominal cavity After I was on antibiotics for over six weeks, I could not go back to work for three months I was a teacher and I was so drained from working at night. I would just crash. It took two years before I felt like a normal human being again. If this is something that happened to Catherine, then the lesions that the doctors have to clean out of your interior cavity and keep drains in you then you can see why it is taking Catherine so long to recuperate. Give the lady a break and just say prayers for as speedy discovery that she could possibly have.

I was 48 when I had a full hysterectomy, was in hospital for 4 days. A week later, I had a complication of a small bowel obstruction and had another surgery, 10 day stay for that one. I still went back to work 6 weeks after the first surgery. Also didn't have the support around me that she has,I had to suck it up and manage, like everyone else. Three months recovery would have been excessive, even with the complications. I was never placed in an induced coma nor isolation. This is very strange.

It TOOK me over 6 weeks to get over my appendectomy.... and could NOT lift anything for over two months. I also had a Nissan Fudoplication for a Hernia... that took 6y MONTHS!

Mine were 7 days in hospital, and so was my hysterectomy. Recovery at home was six weeks, followed by light activities, no lifting or straining, minimal driving, lots of rest. She is on the pre-announced schedule. Oh, and don't forget that she has the means to take longer at home before having to step out looking perfect - as the public expects. You want to see her in pajamas, bathrobe, old slippers, and dirty hair tied in a messy pony tail. Ain't gonna happen.

I personally had a disease gallbladder that was supposed to be a 5 to 10 minute operation but one out of five people end up having to have the full-blown 13 inch incision that requires a lot of stitches and tubes that are used to drain your body from the infection that’s inside your abdominal cavity after that, you are on tons of antibiotics I was in the hospital 10 days because that’s all my insurance would cover. I had to go home with drains and my family had to help me clean them daily. Now it took forever for all the abdominal muscles to be healed that were cut entering the abdominal cavity
After I was on antibiotics for over six weeks, I could not go back to work for three months
I was a teacher and I was so drained from working at night. I would just crash. It took two years before I felt like a normal human being again.
If this is something that happened to Catherine, then the lesions that the doctors have to clean out of your interior cavity and keep drains in you then you can see why it is taking Catherine so long to recuperate. Give the lady a break and just say prayers for as speedy discovery that she could possibly have.
How hypocrite is to say that people should not worry or ask about their health situation. This family is the most powerful one in one of the most powerful countries in the world. Of course people are gonna ask what is going to happen if two of the senior members have some kind of illness.

Me too, aged 38, ten days in hospital and 6 month checkup they had left a bit of ovary in that had grown a cyst! I think Pippa would not be on holiday if her sister were as ill as some are making out. I would think the lies from H&M are enough to make her want to take time for herself before a relaunch on the world stage!
I was 48 when I had a full hysterectomy, was in hospital for 4 days. A week later, I had a complication of a small bowel obstruction and had another surgery, 10 day stay for that one. I still went back to work 6 weeks after the first surgery. Also didn't have the support around me that she has,I had to suck it up and manage, like everyone else. Three months recovery would have been excessive, even with the complications. I was never placed in an induced coma nor isolation. This is very strange.

It TOOK me over 6 weeks to get over my appendectomy.... and could NOT lift anything for over two months. I also had a Nissan Fudoplication for a Hernia... that took 6y MONTHS!
That happens but if you are coming out of hospital people still look at you, you can be seen lying down on a bed or something. Why did the RF not show any events of this lady physically? They did show her pregnancy and when she came out of hospital after giving birth.
37 years ago at the age of 30! I had a double major op, appendix and gall bladder removal. In hospital 2 weeks and 2 weeks off work back at home, with 2 young children and a working husband. After the 2 weeks at home I went back to work hairdressing. We were made of strong stuff back then! But then again I've never been one to like being pampered.

Mine were 7 days in hospital, and so was my hysterectomy. Recovery at home was six weeks, followed by light activities, no lifting or straining, minimal driving, lots of rest.
She is on the pre-announced schedule.
Oh, and don't forget that she has the means to take longer at home before having to step out looking perfect - as the public expects. You want to see her in pajamas, bathrobe, old slippers, and dirty hair tied in a messy pony tail. Ain't gonna happen.
