But jab aap motor per connect karte hain aur motor short hain to kuch resistance uske beech mein hoga in Kilo Ohms so vo dead short nahi hua hain. Isliye aapko dead short nahi karna hain
Sir, For Testing of insulation with digital insulation tester: 1. For Single core cable: Put the sample or cable drum inside the plastic bucket. Bucket should be put on to rubber sheet or wooden plank. If we have put the sample on to water bath, water bath should be put on to rubber sheet and its mains socket plug should be out and not connected. Then sample both the ends should be out and not connected to the water. Connect this insulation tester one point in the water and another point on to the wire. If the sample is faulty or leaky it will show some reading OR Err. If the sample is good and the values are inside 40 GOhm it will show value, if the sample is more than 40GOhm it will show OL. 2. For Pair Cable: Connect this insulation tester on both the points of cable. Do remember both the end of the wire should be open and not short. If the sample is faulty or leaky it will show some reading OR Err. If the sample is good and the values are inside 40 GOhm it will show value, if the sample is more than 40GOhm it will show OL.
