    It is a good light, good design, only 1 thing I would change: I wish that the fans were a little bit bigger (they use these tiny fans by all the lights with fans), that way they could be more silent and provide more air to the cooling. If you are in contact with Imalent, please forward this viewer advice to them (from an Imalent user) when you have time, thank you!

    • @flashlightfreak882
      @flashlightfreak882 Год назад +2

      Not completely. For example, the ms18 has water cooling with fans, but if you have an sr16 and, for example, an mr90, you probably know that they have completely different fans. I don't understand why comment that they still have the same fans 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    • @no2thenwo737
      @no2thenwo737 Год назад +1

      How would larger fans effect the overall design? I do get your point though. I say this as I look at my Imalent MS18. On the MS18 they could have added a fan that was half an inch wider and thinner (like a laptop CPU fan) while sinking it into the chassis a tad more. The noise doesn't bother me at all, but could definitely be improved.

    I had this one week before they launched thanks to a friend of mind in Hong Kong. Having the MS 18 which has around a 1100 meter throw it makes me scratch my head how they managed 2500 meters basically off a nearly identical head. Now there are some differences to the reflectors but not much. Heat is about the same on turbo but weight distribution is abit more hefty on the 32. The handle helps even that out. I was hoping Imalent would have heard users requests to provide reusable battery pack instead of being forced to buy a replacement pack that runs $200.00. I am sure Samsung makes batteries that can run these lights with no issues. Is it worth upgrading for 20,000 lumens more? Not really, from what many light collectors stated from lumen tests that it barely achieves 101,000 lumens. Honestly I cannot visually see any difference accept that my neighbors threw a fit when I lit both lights on turbo lol. I guess it is up to the person if they wanted a handle version of the MS 18.

    Yeah I'm hoping and praying by the year of 2025 that they make the light output shine father away and and outputs shine wider they're up to 120.000 thousand feet why not go up to 500, 000 by the year of 2025 😊

    Well this is an accomplished flashlight. However, I do wish Imalent would stop lying about their specs.
    ANSI output has been measured at 42,351 lumen (101,000 at turn on) and throw measured at 270,000cd (not claimed 1,090,000).
    However, it has been measured at 17,000 sustained lumens for 50 minutes! And that my friend is what's phenomenal about this light!

    These type of flashlights have a big issue
    You cannot use the turbo mode for more than 1 min,they should put better cooling systems and bigger batteries

      Turbo is not designed to run constantly. It's for short bursts. As for medium and high have good runtimes. Fans are a bit weak at the RPM they spin. Thanks for watching!

    I certainly hope that these minor flaws will be solved in next batches. No shortcut to low and poor performance in High mode are for sure a bit dissapointing after so much input from reviewers. Fingers crossed. Cheers Charles!

    I thought the MS-18 was supposed to be the brightest. Either way, unless you are a rescue team member or the like, there is no reason to need one of these. I recently bought a 6000 lumens flashlight and returned it a couple days ago. I guess it's because of my astigmatism, but after using it for about an hour outside and not looking into it at all, my eyes didn't feel right for about half a day. I support a statement I read years back.....for most people and their needs in a flashlight 1000 lumens is as much as you will ever need. But I understand. I do own a Smith&Wesson 500 MAGNUM. There are no grizzlies here. It's too big to conceal carry and too much for home defense. However, it's awesome when somebody is bragging about their handgun and you can say "Thats a pu$$y gun." and show them why. Lol

      I agree that this light can be over kill for some. I love my lights that can maintain 10k lumens which is a large amount for me. Thanks for watching!

      If you knew this channel you'd recognize the ability for one to see the capability of each light he reviews in the same format, like on the same racetrack. So we can better compare one light to another. If you do not understand that, then simply go away please. We don't need you here anyway.

    You would think they would finally include a tripod/camera mount in this model being so high end.
    That's such a draw back for me. The position of the On/Off switch is terrible as well. Not to mention the overall look & finish of the light is very ordinary.. Performance is amazing. No question about that!
