It is a good light, good design, only 1 thing I would change: I wish that the fans were a little bit bigger (they use these tiny fans by all the lights with fans), that way they could be more silent and provide more air to the cooling. If you are in contact with Imalent, please forward this viewer advice to them (from an Imalent user) when you have time, thank you!
Not completely. For example, the ms18 has water cooling with fans, but if you have an sr16 and, for example, an mr90, you probably know that they have completely different fans. I don't understand why comment that they still have the same fans 🤷♂️🤦♂️
How would larger fans effect the overall design? I do get your point though. I say this as I look at my Imalent MS18. On the MS18 they could have added a fan that was half an inch wider and thinner (like a laptop CPU fan) while sinking it into the chassis a tad more. The noise doesn't bother me at all, but could definitely be improved.
If you are scared of darkness ... that can cure you for sure. :) I have Imalent dx80 from a few years ago. Will probably upgrade for main flashlight with something like this in the next year.
Thanks for the 1st review on here. I think the problem here is that IMALENT they make the OLED screen upside down, it's easier to see it when it's turned upside down.😅😅😅

Hello Charles! Very good this matter, I really liked it! I appreciate your videos! What a wonderful "toy" you brought us this time huh? kkk... TOP! CONGRATULATIONS! 😉👍🤝
I really wish imalent should make a underwater version for cave divers. Imagine a cave lit up by 120k lumens & those guys need as many lumens as you can cram into a flashlight. They can even remove the fans as caves & oceans are mostly too cold.
I had this one week before they launched thanks to a friend of mind in Hong Kong. Having the MS 18 which has around a 1100 meter throw it makes me scratch my head how they managed 2500 meters basically off a nearly identical head. Now there are some differences to the reflectors but not much. Heat is about the same on turbo but weight distribution is abit more hefty on the 32. The handle helps even that out. I was hoping Imalent would have heard users requests to provide reusable battery pack instead of being forced to buy a replacement pack that runs $200.00. I am sure Samsung makes batteries that can run these lights with no issues. Is it worth upgrading for 20,000 lumens more? Not really, from what many light collectors stated from lumen tests that it barely achieves 101,000 lumens. Honestly I cannot visually see any difference accept that my neighbors threw a fit when I lit both lights on turbo lol. I guess it is up to the person if they wanted a handle version of the MS 18.
I was hoping Imalent would have gone with the SFT-40 as that LED can throw a bit more and is superior to the XHP50.3. As it is, 25,000 flatline lumens for a full hour is still pretty sweet. Thanks for the review! I'm gonna hold off hoping Imalent turns around to the SFT-40 in their top end multi-LED monsters.

I thought the MS-18 was supposed to be the brightest. Either way, unless you are a rescue team member or the like, there is no reason to need one of these. I recently bought a 6000 lumens flashlight and returned it a couple days ago. I guess it's because of my astigmatism, but after using it for about an hour outside and not looking into it at all, my eyes didn't feel right for about half a day. I support a statement I read years back.....for most people and their needs in a flashlight 1000 lumens is as much as you will ever need. But I understand. I do own a Smith&Wesson 500 MAGNUM. There are no grizzlies here. It's too big to conceal carry and too much for home defense. However, it's awesome when somebody is bragging about their handgun and you can say "Thats a pu$$y gun." and show them why. Lol
