(WR star are typically not main-sequence but some stars (like R136a1) would be so massive that it is main-sequence AND WR. They’re called WRh

fun fact: Technically in an binary system, The planets would be named: Ab, Ac, Ad, Bb, Bc, and Bd. As Proxima Centauri is also called Alpha Centauri C. so Proxima B would also be called Alpha Centauri Cb. The A1, A2, and A3 would refer to moons.
Edit: It does not refer to moons, technically it does, but moons would use Roman Numerals

@Ilovelanguages actually what determines the A or B would be when it was discovered. if all planets were discovered at the same time, then it would go by order from closest to farthest. Like Proxima Centauri D. Its closer than Proxima B but was discovered last.
and for stars that were discovered at the same time, then yes, it would be by size. more likely at least
