Subdwarf stars are unenriched in heavy elements. The lower metallicity decreases the radiation pressure, resulting in a smaller, hotter star for a given mass.
    Our Sun's metallicity is 1.3%~1.8%
The random star in this video is 0.06%
    b - 0.87AU(in 1:10) - 2.7MEarth
    c - 2.3AU(in 1:10) - 380MEarth

Awesome video! I especially liked the touch of the HR diagram in the corner and showing the continents changing on the B planet. (Reminds me of Algol's videos.) And they were pink! In my mind that was some kind of algal bloom or something, so that planet had life for a while. Maybe not complex life, but life. :)
(and then the star just HAD to smack it at the very last second before becoming a white dwarf. D'oh!)

Though... I don't know why people were bugging you for a G-type star timeline video, because we already have like 3 or 4, because PLOTTWIST! the SUN is a G type star! As in, the Sun that EARTH orbits! OUR Sun! So we've been living in a G-type star's orbit this WHOLE TIME! A G-type star timeline wasn't something we needed since we already had multiple, but the fact that you went the extra 4.2 light years to make this anyway just so your fans will be happy, was really sweet of you

Higher metallicity stars actually libe longer than low metallicity stars. So a g type star of of G2 with higher metallicity would be of a higher mass as the suns mass is considered more in line with later g type stars (think G5) our sun has comparably low metallicity to other similar stars and also will live 1 billion years less than expected because of it.
