Retaining the Cook Islands Language

Our reporter Johnson Raela found out that behind all the delicious food and dancing, there is a worrying issue around the Cook Islands language.

Me and my cousin went to tamariki takitumu and they didn't even teach us the cook island language sure we sang songs and danced but we graduated not knowing how to speak the basics and here we are plastic polys but don't get me wrong, we loved going there and got to experience our culture.
