The McLeans thank everyone for their support. Donations have surpassed $2300 this afternoon. Gunnar went through another surgery today and hopes to have the vent tube removed soon. Gunnar was one of the first people I met my freshman year. The week of move-in I met him because we live on the same floor at KSU, and you wouldn’t believe how many people’s lives he’s touched. Gunnar is such a kind-hearted soul and an incredible person and I’m praying he recovers quickly.
What a classy, profound and heartfelt show. Another example of K-Staters helping K-Staters. Thank you for using your platform and sharing this story with KSU fans everywhere, Fitz.
I don't know you Gunner but I am praying for pain relief, rapid healing, a compassionate and skilled medical team, and continued love and encouragement from your family and your K Stste family God loves you and will carry you through this valley. Blessings!💜🙏
Dammit, Fitz, I’m bawling like a baby over this video… How very heartbreaking for Gunnar and his family to have to endure this horrible, tragic accident and the pain he’s going through… I’m praying relentlessly for God to provide relentless healing, not just for Gunnar’s injuries, but for his immediate family, and his K-State family, too. 😔😢💔🙏🏻🙏🏻
Gunner is a childhood friend. We met in the early 2010’s and him and his family have been close friends but haven’t seen him for years. He is definitely in my prayers.
Prayers for your buddy Fitz. The KSU family is a special family. As I indicated earlier Dad graduated from the school of Veterinary medicine in 54. Mom worked for Farm Bureau in Manhattan. She told me it was the best job she ever had. Dad came to rescue her in downtown Manhattan during the 51 flood. My wife and I will say a prayer for Gunner.
Can remember my parents hosting a KSU alumni party at our house at 224 Grace St in Tonganoxie Kansas. Vince Gibson and several other Alumni were there! We gunna win! Lol! Great memories!
I've known Gunnar's mom and dad since high school. It's been a joy to watch their family grow up and heartbreaking to hear Gunnar was injured this badly. Many many prayers for his healing and for the family as they go through this too.
The McLean family has touched so many lives including my own. Hoping for a fast recovery for Gunnar ❤. I’ve never met a better man than Greg and know his kids are just the same as him.
It's not often I see a comment string like this one. Amazing! Adding my prayers for healing and peace for Gunnar and those who are hurting. Thanks Fitz.
Praying for his speedy recovery and praying for his family. Saying the lords prayer right now. Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Amen
Since I don’t have Venmo, can I send a contribution to you at DD or 247 Sports for him? Or could you send his address in GA? My prayers are for him and his family, and also for you!
