    Jenna your ability to tell your truths is very brave and I’m sorry that you had to endure this experience in your childhood and it breaks my heart as a mom and grandmother, that loves them so much, I can’t fathom the pain and trauma, that your having to heal and I now know why we all see a very strong young woman ❤ Your super smart in your analysis of it all and thank you for sharing your story. You’re a true blessing in my opinion and many blessings to you and your beautiful family🙏🏻……

    Through trauma we learn how to come up with some awful coping mechanisms that spill into every area of our lives. Especially relationships. 😭

    You’re very strong and hearing you talk about this, made me realize just how much woman feel that it’s not okay to be emotional, but it’s not emotional, it intertwined with intelligence and empathy; our world unfortunately is also full of men that are full of themselves. Don’t ever doubt or apologize for being you. I repeat don’t apologize, be yourself and be empathetic and be emotional when you want. I say this because it’s important to surround yourself with people that appreciate and respect, but also recognize your amazing person, your soul.

      Aw thank you ❤ I think many people consider being emotional the opposite of being logical which is not the case. It took me a while to realize this.

    • @saracooper7904

      @@JennaMiscavige Totally not the case agreed. I work in Tech and it’s an industry full of men and zero empathy. I have found that over the years I have had to be tough like a robot, almost with no feelings. But, it’s also made me to realize that we are all human and it’s important to give people the ability to express their own thoughts and opinions, but I still have that little voice telling me to just deal with it. I want more woman in STEM, so we can bring that voice and empathy for clients.

    I think that it would be more shocking if the ranch kids didn’t have abandonment issues in relationships. I think the fact that most of you have all gone on to have the amount of success and the loving spirit we see is proof of the strength of character Scientology tried to get rid of but couldn’t.
    Loved your stream again, thanks jenna.

    💔 Sweet Jenna, I'm so sorry that happened to you. As a Mom & (former) teacher, it breaks my heart AND infuriates me the way that the people (robots) in $ci treated the kids & young adults. It's so unhealthy & dangerous. Thankfully, you're away from all of that, remarkably resilient, and free to thrive! You have such a strong sense of the beautiful & caring person that you are. So celebrate that, and continue to do all that you're doing, especially with your own kids (who are clearly lucky to you you as their Mom). What a powerful video. 🌸💖🌸

  • @Marcab_Recon
    @Marcab_Recon Месяц назад +9

    Hello Jenna, I loved the intro! You are so wise. I really appreciate your candor.
    Years ago, I was a very social person. I used to laugh a lot, I used to be a fun person. But over the years, I have increasingly become less social, less outgoing, I bottle up my emotions most of the time, I am quiet, and these days, I feel awkward. To make matters worse, these changes in my personality caused good friends to drift away. Fear of being alone or being rejected makes this provlem even worse. Fear can make people less social. It is something I am trying to overcome, now that I am retired.
    When I think back on my life, I really think these changes to my personality came from trauma and seeing some of the worst crimes and violence in society. Who knows, maybe I have PTSI and I don't realize it.
    Being brought up and conditioned in Scientology made things very difficult for you. The abuse and isolation you endured in Scientology made it even worse. Is it possi le you have PTSI? If you have not done so, seeing a therapist or even a psychiatrist may help. You make your own decisions, and you would not have to accept any medications if a doctor tried to prescribe them. Some doctors prescribe SSRI medications like its candy, so do what you think is best for you. There is NO shame in seeking help. A simple therapist or psychologist is worth it, but you may have to try a few different ones before you find one that fits.

    • @JennaMiscavige
      @JennaMiscavige  Месяц назад +5

      Thank you so much for opening up to me. I totally relate to you.
      I understand how it feels to sort of watch yourself become a different person and for it to be hard to get back to your old and more free version of yourself.
      I have had some therapy but the therapist wasn’t a psychologist so was more of a life coach. So while it was very helpful and needed, it may not have been addressing the underlying causes directly.
      I am glad that we have each other in this community and we can all learn from each other and heal. Thank you for your kindness and wisdom, I am grateful you are here ❤️

    Jenna, you are an amazing young woman! With every video you post I feel a close "connection" to you.
    When I was 14, and a scrawny kid, I got into a fight with my dad! I have no idea where the sheer rage came from, but I hit him over the head with a mirror and ran like hell! Everything felt like it was in slow motion! I did everything to get away from the beating I KNEW was coming including pushing a ladder over on him. When he caught me and grabbed me as I tried to run up the stairs. He grabbed me by the leg and flipped me upside down giving me the "opportunity" to sink my teeth I to his leg and drawing blood. I remember EVERYTHING I did to defend myself, but, although I got a real beating, I have absolutely no recollection of it! I think it was because I took back my power! Our dad never hit any of us after that day! So, really, I WON!

      @merrileeheard3889
      Oh my, my heart goes out to you! I had a similar incident with my dad at 14, except I didn't attempt to fight back and as he pressed his knee on my neck while threatening to kill me I was made to beg for my life to make him stop.This abuse happened because I asked why my twin and I had to weed a fellow church member's garden (Jehovah's Witness cult) for the 3rd day in a row at high humidity/90 degree temps in the blazing sun for hours without help from their very able grandsons of a similar age. I wish I could say the physical abuse stopped at that point but that didn't happen until my twin and I were 17. Our dad went to attack my sister for voicing a complaint that she wanted to talk to our sister when she called from out of state with news about our beloved neice who was 2-1/2 years old. He trapped my sister in her bedroom and she grabbed a small TV and threated to smash it over his head if he dared touch her. That day he saw something in her eyes that stopped him in his tracks--and he never hit either of us again. We left home the day we turned 18.
      Our relationship was spotty and rocky over the next 15 years. Until the day I drove from Ohio to North Carolina to visit my parents for a weekend. They took this opportunity to ask why we weren't close and I tried to avoid the painful conversation that would ensue--but my dad insisted that he wanted to know. When I gave them example after example of beatings and mental abuse by both of them my dad had no memory of it and my mom denied it ever happened. But the truly amazing thing is my father sincerely apologized and cried in shame at his actions. I forgave him instantly--we mended the fences and built a loving friendship over the next 14 years until he passed away. It's transformational what taking responsibility for one's actions will do for a deeply wounded child in an adult's body. All these years later I continue to talk to my dad and I feel his presence watching over me. I wish everyone who has experienced abandonment and abuse could recieve a similar apology. HUGS and love to you and Jenna.🫂❤
      Julie

    There is nothing wrong in expecting different things from a romantic partner as you do of your friends. You know you would do anything you could to support your partner and it's hurtful when you come to find that the same level of support isn't always reciprocated. Sorry totally random and off topic but I think you would be good at counciling people that have suffered trauma. You seem to have a natural calming empathetic presence about you. Thanks for the comments. Staff members inside Scientology are attacked constantly and belittled. I can see why you would feel that at least your spouse should be on your side, since no one else is. Also, if your family and all your friends are in Scientology, you would have a deep fear of any punishment from the church. The church could, for almost any reason, send you to the RPF or declare you suppressive and then your friends cannot talk to you and neither will your family. If you have to leave the church you will no money, no car, no job and no real job experience. Total abandonment. I do have a question for you, if you would like to answer someday: How did you learn to trust wogs? Since you were raised in Scientology you must have been taught that anyone outside of Scientology was a potential trouble source and had no ethics. After you left Scientology you must have had to trust somebody. You must have learned that wogs were not really so bad after all.
