I have the same chain as "the beast" on your site, but mine is 2.5 Kilo. Got it in Phuket Thailand for $2,700 after some haggling. Silver has gone up, but is always a great investment. Lots of nice work on your site, i'm a huge fan!
Brother Gus, the passion you have for this fine jewelry is so evident in your videos, and this video shares the hard work you put in handcrafting every piece. I'm in Florida too and i would love to own one of your fine bracelets one day. Keep up the interesting content and thanks for sharing your passion for Miami-made jewelry with us!!!
Hey I want to start doing this and I was wondering if you can make a video with a sit to get all your tools or something cheaper maybe for us beginners
AWESOME VIDEO! Where can I find an oval mandrel/copper rod for crafting these links? Are there any stores you know of that sell them, or is it something that needs to be custom-made?
Amazing Video!!! did you just wrap the silver wire onto any metal rod or do you have a specific rod? Also how would you make 7mm cuban so that link are 7mm but the lnks are spaced out so you have full necklace in less gold? So some cubans are 7mm and 24 inch chain with less gold and some have more gold, it depends on how you make the links. Do you know how that works?
I been watching your videos and the chains look nice. I had one made by a well known maker in FL took for ever and the quality was not good at all even though everyone on RUclips recommended them.. I want a 7mm 24 let me know if this is possible and time line. I'm down to give you guys a shot. Thanks
@@HippieHempermime took about a week from ordering.. obv some are in stock. They probably do long lengths of chain then cut to length per order on 8 and 10mm.
I just got a 6mm 20 inch 10k 51.6g Miami cuban from a company called goldzenn they claim to be hand made in Miami the return address was Miami lol so who really knows its top quality and heavy af and I'm happy with it so I guess it don't matter now I'm intrigued how they make em
Labor costs are all too often overlooked by the end consumer when looking at a custom piece. Sure, the material (silver) may be trading at $19 USD per Troy Ounce but the labor costs and markup drive the price of a silver piece sky high. So, a 1 kilo silver chain has perhaps $610 USD worth of silver, but what were the labor costs, the materials consumed, wear& tear on the machinery, insurance, workers compensation insurance, for this type of labor is gonna be extremely high, etc, etc, etc. You’d have $610 worth of silver selling for a few thousand dollars.
I wouldn't have polished it. The whiteness of the silver gives it its unique aesthetic characteristic. Polished silver looks just normal stainless steel. Nonetheless, great work
Does it make sense when people buy cute silver Cuban chains you’re paying for basically the labor when you buy a gold chain Cuban you’re really only paying for the call maybe 3 to 4 dollars for labor per gram
I own both and I like to wear them both. Aside from the “investment” perspective, jewelry are meant to be worn and be decorations. One can go buy gold bars instead if investment means so much to one. Silver is extremely white compared to stainless steel and white gold, and sometimes I feel wearing monochrome rather than going for my yellow gold. It is really not much compared to same sized gold chain of any purity. Labor cost seems like a lot more because the absolute price of silver is low, so the labor occupies bigger pie chart despite the absolute cost of labor is same as gold.
Respect to the talented young jeweller
Absolutely stunning I just received my silver Cuban link from Gus . Exactly 16mm the best chain I ever seen . Thank you Gus …
May I ask how much you paid for the chain and how
Long did you wait to get it?
The fucking dedication is what will ALWAYS set you apart from the rest. Killing it my friend!!!
Appreciate you!!
Yall are the Maca!
I wasn’t even interested in a chain, and I’m getting the feeling to get one. Lol!!! Let’s go Heat!

Beautiful work
I just starting off. Using 3d printing until I make enough to invest in the tools to hand make them myself. Great vid
same man
I love this vid I really appreciate the art and work that goes behind them, I just ordered a 14mm can't wait!
Watching this process from start to finish is mind blowing. I think you should make an ASMR video of the chain making process as well lol

Is that Square wire rolled out?? Then pulled into round??
Lovin my 16mm bracelet now to cop a 13 or 14 mm chain
My brother please wear some protective eye gear. Beautiful work, I'm looking forward to getting some silver pieces
For a bracelet If 7.5 inch is a super snug fit should I get a 8 inch or 8.25 inch
I’m coming for one of those haven’t decided on 12mm or 14mm
Whats better ? The traditional way (how you guys showed) or 3D printing the links ?

What’s the reason for not doing a sleek lock or diamond button on the silver chains and bracelets?
Dope ass video!
Thanks Brosky!!!

When you going to re stock on gold Cubans? Your out of stock on your web site
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I see the love but how much is it worth if I try to resell it do I still see the love or is it worthless🤔 make it make sense$$$
I have a kilo block of pure silver what would you guys charge me to turn it into a Cuban Link chain?

Make some merchandise plz,…. Like hats or t shirts
why is the dude manually straightenting the chain at @7:08 when it was done by the machine at @6:54 ?
Who is the artist of the music in this video and what is the song title?
I'm wondering the same. I wrote a verse to it
Not the necklace in the thumbnail but ok.
😢🍭
I wish you guys would make a titanium option
Hola amigo encuanto sale una cadena de plata gruesa pero de las gruesecillas quiero una ?
The reason why they cost that much is because some sucker is willing to pay it. It’s barely any work to make a Cuban link chain.
I wouldn't have polished it. The whiteness of the silver gives it its unique aesthetic characteristic. Polished silver looks just normal stainless steel. Nonetheless, great work
Hey Gus, just so you know I called two days ago asking if they could make me a 9 mm in silver 24 inches they told me no. What’s up with that my guy
Watching this process is very cool Do you have a website? I don’t want to call and haggle. 😎
Im trying to buy a 999 silver at manufacturer prices in miami. LMK if you guys wanna do business.
Homie wasn't even supplied with any eye protection
Pay what the price is so he can pay his workers a good wage. Quality work
Please get that man some eye protection!!

Yeah. At that point even people should
Buy white gold instead of silver
@@ehxoz6365 silver is more ethical

Nice. But dude should be wearing safety glasses on that cutting wheel.. I worked with a guy who learned the hard way, now he's glass eye Gregorio 💀
Broooooo💯🫡🫡🫡🫡
What your paying for is the labor and the huge greedy profit.
Personally, I wouldn’t want the the links Cuban style. I would want the links regular. A bigger version of the famous Tiffany silver chain necklace
5m30, boy wear a pair of protective glasses. You are too young to loose an eye
this video would have been so much better without that awful music. great video otherwise. awesome to watch
What's wrong with Italian made lol like weird flex but okay
Silver jewellery has to be the biggest waste of time on earth🤦🏾👎🏾
Doesn't seem THAT labor intensive esp with all the machines.
Terrible
Booooobooooo! factory cut chains only take an hour to reclamp and polish booooooo! An hour is not worth 75 percent premium
