Thanks for the comment. I've enjoyed you're videos. She's is built like a ship, but not fast like your Com-Pac. We're just getting through winter here in Newfoundland. In fact, I just launched my boat a couple of days ago for the sailing season. Cheers.

I bought a 25’ Catalina in Long Island, NY & brought her to Glovertown NL a few yrs back. Sold her last year so her new home will be in Hare Bay. Customs officer at Canada / USA border sail it looked like something from a Stephen King movie. 😂 She too was sitting in the weeds for a long time.

Sometime in the weeds is where you'll fine a good deal on a diamond in the rough. Looks like you've since moved up a notch though (just watched your video). Nice to hear from you.

Hello from West Palm Beach, FL. I love old, vintage everything and this boat is beautiful. I also love sailing but haven't sailed in years. I happened upon your video and immediately subscribed. Looking forward to episode 5. Enjoy!

The bow on that reminds of a Formosa

I just checked these boats out... yes very similar look on the bow for sure. Formosa boats look very nice and substantial. I hadn't heard of them before so thanks for pointing them out.

Like your journey with boating/sailing, and DIY getting it fitted out to have fun. One request, please try to pan your camera slowly. Thanks.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I agree. The footage for these videos, and the next 3 or 4, was taken this summer when I really didn't have a RUclips plan or idea about what I was doing. However, I just bought a gimbal, an iPhone, and will use a wind muff, and at times a GoPro, in videos after these... getting into it. Stay tuned, and thanks.

This is in Trinity Bay (Atlantic Ocean), Newfoundland & Labrador. Thanks for the question.

Yes John it was pretty good despite the wrong wind direction at times. We'll take what we can get. One lesson I did learn is that with sailing, you have to wait sometimes for the right conditions before you go. Can't be in a rush.
