Loving the clue (if I figured it correctly). Potential spoiler that doesn't really impact the game: Wasn't it the alarm from the bridge in the infamous "It's a trap" scene?
I think it would be awesome if you had some sort of cool challenge or some other thing prepared for when you hit that 3k subs. Maybe you already have something in mind?) Anyway, get well soon. (:
I am not sure if I like the Wizard. In fact I've fallen out of love with a lot of the experimentals. I'm happy for the community that the game has expanded so much but some of these abilities have such a high skill ceiling, are complicated and their application for a wide audience in a party game setting is limited. Don't get me wrong. I like complicated ones like the Atheist! I just don't have a personal situation where I have people to play a game featuring the Wizard or even a Heretic. However, it does make for amazing content! Seeing a Wizard wish being granted is wild.
I can definitely see this side to it; the base three will always be the most accessible characters, but I do expect to see The Wizard as something groups build up towards. It’s good that the game caters towards both newbie and party-game enthusiasts, and also those that want the spicy roles. They can coexist for sure :)
@arif_a_ absolutely, especially the online scene. I don't think as much in person. Everyone can relate to the: "nobody wants to get together" or "it is bloody hard to get the same 10-12 people together in person" consistently. Sure, maybe you (no specific person reading this) can, and that is great. ☺️ Try doing that with a bunch of younger adults with kids and shift work and competing interests. I do hope the next physical edition has some super balanced scripts. It will be interesting to see how the Wizard could possibly be part of the next expansion... If it will be. Right now, I certainly hope it isn't part of it because of my earlier reservations. There are lots of characters to pull from, and I would welcome nuanced roles like the Atheist and Amnesiac (with an absurd ability) with open arms to the next editions.
I definitely relate to knowing that of the many friends and mutual friends I have, coordinating all of them into a game like BotC is a hard sell (I was invited to bring the game to a party once but ADHD is a wild beast and I knew from the moment I arrived that it would be like herding cats and I didn't want to be the person who tried to force structure on a chaotic setting). So I have intimate knowledge of wanting to try all kinds of scenarios and more complex roles on my friends to see what they would do, but it would require getting them familiar enough with the game to do so! And if corralling eight+ of them for a single game is difficult enough I don't know how I'd be able to do it repeatedly. Wishing I was able to run certain characters can make watching them vicariously through videos like this a double ended sword. But it's hard to resent a role like Wizard the same way it's hard to resent beautiful Ren Faire costumes I can't afford. I sincerely hope you one day have an opportunity to run crazy fantastical roles. For now we can watch :,^)
I wish arif would recover from their illness
The cost is time :)
'If you're watching this, I'm still Ill.'
Sorry Arif but... what else am I going to do for two hours?
Love the image of rival gangs of Seamstresses and Savants having a West Side Story dance battle.

Ill? Oh no! Get better, Arif!
Really great games. The worry on Hobbe's face at the end of the second game was fantastic.
Get well soon Arif, hope the kids aren't too upset at not being able to play in the snow if you're all full of flu.
Get well very soon Arif. Been busy lately. I'll binge watch your vids once I'm no longer busy.
I hope you and your family all feel better soon!
I hope you’re feeling better!
