    How did you find riding with drop bars compared to Jones H bar? I am debating which of these to put on my bikepacking bike. Thanks!

    • @LucaMontoya
      @LucaMontoya  17 дней назад +2

      @@ulaziuIt really depends on your bike setup. Jones H-Bar for a nice MTB Hardtail & drop bars for a gravel bike.
      I enjoy flat bars more.

    Good review. Regarding Albion jacket: Till what temperature was OK to ride in it? No code for Cyplus found.

      Thank you!
      With proper base layers you can ride in that jacket comfortable at around +5 degrees I reckon!
      Definitely a big recommendation from me.
      I just added the link for the E-Pump above in the comments section

    Hi Luca, where did all your food go? I have pretty much the same setup but had to stuff sleeping gear + cloth into the AP20 to have space for food and cooking equipment in the fork bags.

    • @LucaMontoya
      @LucaMontoya  17 дней назад

      Forgot about it! I strapped my gas on top of my AP20 and I had a little cooker. Lost both on my 4th or 5th day on this trip 😅

    Super fancy setup! 😊
    Are you running the 5 or 10 litre tailfin fork packs?

    Hey Luca
    What was your reasoning behind using fork bags instead of a standers handle bar bag/roll is it to keep it more stable ?

    Hi Luca, do you prefer the fork bags to rear panniers?

    • @NotteboomTars
      @NotteboomTars 17 дней назад

      Good question, I’m thinking to get the rear panniers

    • @LucaMontoya
      @LucaMontoya  17 дней назад

      I personally prefer the small fork bags but it really depends how much gear you want to carry! The rear panniers can even storage a laptop 👨🏻‍💻

    Great video, man. What experience have you had when leaving/locking your bike in front of a supermarket? I have a decent Abus lock, but every time I'm in the supermarket I'm still scared that someone might take stuff out of the bags. Have you ever experienced someone trying to steal something, or do you just trust people?
    Hope to see you at some point in Scandinavia mate.

    • @LucaMontoya
      @LucaMontoya  17 дней назад +1

      Never had any bad experiences!
      I mostly bring my bike inside the supermarket. I think a lock like Abus etc. are way to heavy for bikepacking! There are some pretty strong cable locks that might save you some weight and space.
