I will usually use a palm ratchet and socket. It always works well and doesn't over torque the nozzle.
thanks TIM
Thx for the info😜 keeep up the good work
great video btw
A bit of high temperature anti-seize compound on the threads is a simple bit of precaution against potential heat seizing later on, as well.
This is true. Just make sure its rated up to the highest temp you'll print at.
@@TH3DStudio Easy solution on that front... Just get something intended for automotive use. If your printer is exceeding EIGHT HUNDRED DEGREES CELSIUS, you've got MUCH bigger problems!
I never use a socket on soft metals. Especially a 16pt. Have you ever stripped one? I always use a wrench.
Never stripped or sheared one ourselves but we've seen people online shear them.
What is the plating metal? titanium? also i just use a rag to clean off melted plastic off hot end. So with a .4 nozzle you can set your width in your slicler to .6 width and it just pushes out more plastic. No need to change nozzle i accidentally made the discovery by sending the .6 gcode to a printer with a .4 nozzle and the results were no different then having a .6 nozzle speed and quality. So the range on a .4 nozzle is much broader then you may think. Also i rarely use the printer interface on the front choosing to use an old android phone with octoremote talking to rasberries running octoprint. Which you can connect multiple printers to. octoremote you can set several quick commands such as setting temp or raising the z or which i use the most is checking my tower homes on my deltas
Hey Tim. Will you have any support for your abl on the kingroon. Love the firmware update.
In a couple of days. If you're wanting to add it grab an ezabl kit from our sale right now. They're 25% off.
@@TH3DStudio cool. I'll order the pro version. Thanks
Tim is experienced at doing this, everyone else should wear some type of glove, at 240C, the block will instantly burn you.
You've got about 1-2 seconds before it actually starts to hurt. :P
Did you see BatWomen? They have 3d printer in episode 2 .. printing with spider web
