Well, a small hiccup, but currently it seems that Tavern Brawler is not patched for Wildshapes properly for Honour mode and doesn't apply its damage properly and instead applies to double strength bonus only to the Attack Roll and not the Damage Roll. I'm sure it'll be patched soon (though they may patch out the extra attack stacking when they do), but until then you're going to be dealing a little less damage than you should be on Honour mode. (it's still definitely a viable build in honour mode, this is honestly a bigger deal for the full wildshape build more than the Barbarian version since it really hurts the Earth Myrmidon damage) If you want to replace the Tavern Brawler feat for Honour Mode, I'd recommend going one of the following that all work in wildshape: - Alert, for bonus initiative and freeing up the initiative increasing gear for other party members - Lucky, so you can have a way to reroll critical rolls you want to make sure go your way - Dual Wielder, if you are dual wielding before wildshaped you gain the +1 AC to your Wildshape even after changing - Warcaster, if you want to make sure you maintain concentration on a spell after wildshaping the feat transfers its advantage on concentration saving throws over
@@dakotacox3332 Tavern brawler fully works on wildshapes on Tactitian and below, and then on Honour mode it is bugged and only applies to the Attack Roll rather than the Attack and Damage rolls like it should. (This is tried and tested by me as of Hotfix #15 from Dec 21st)
Could you get the shapshifting ring already in act 1 if you just kill him without his quest And I think it would be quite worth it bc the ring is the best for this build
You easily make the best build guides I've seen. Amazing intros. Easy to follow along. Great humor with recurring characters using the "assistants." You actually go over the itemization throughout the acts and not just act 3. And the builds are also very fun. Simply incredible.
After I beat bg3 I was hoping that people had made in depth build guides, but a lot of them are faff. Yours are just way better than the competition. I especially like when you go over the items for each Act, most people just talk about act 3 stuff, but the game is just over at that point already anyway. Thanks a lot for making these videos man I love you. :)
this was amazing put together, ive watched so many videos for inspiration for my Tact/Honor mode playthroughs and they all just have too much going on in the video for my A.D.D. this was clean and precise
I’m definitely going to follow this guide. I play a tank Bear Barbarian in my friends campaign and I wanted to play the same character in BG3 at first I thought it wouldn’t work but seeing this makes me excited to try it out.
absolutely beutiful videos, never seen such comprehensive build guilds, even back in the divinity days. Really good stuff, looks like high production value stuff. I love the little action previews, such a nice touch. good work brotha!
very well put together. If your not playing Honor mode, it is a touch counter-intuitive, it may make sense to run Sorc 1 + Land 11 for the Con save and self-haste for a bear build. You get all the same toys except you trade the bonus action wildshape for being able to concentrate on your own Haste buff (if you take Artic or Grassland). Pair with Warcaster at 9 (druid 8) and your golden. Especially if you are tanking, using a shield for AC for when you drop out of form saves a ton of damage. Moonbasking only gives 11 AC and unless your running a dex build (or gear) for initiative your AC is going to be low.
another great video!! I understand why it was delayed, that opening cinematic was AMAZING! I'd love to see what your take on a warlock build would look like!
Thank you! ❤️ Opening cinematic was a real editing nightmare but by god, I'd be lying if I said I didn't cook with this one. Warlock is actually on the cards soon (probably 1 or 2 videos out?), since Honour Mode patched out the Pact of the Blade Stacking, I'm finally ready to make a Bladelock of sorts in the near future.
The intros are always simultaneously my favorite and least favorite part to make since they usually are editing nightmares, but at the same time the end products are always something I look at and feel pride in.
I'm currently doing a circle of spores druid build that just got to Act 2, and now I think I have to switch because this seems way more fun. Great build video as always, and I really appreciate you explaining the build style and gear progression.

you do understand that the duegar "enlarge" DOESNT apply the extra 1d4 damage to wild shape forms ("Its *weapons* deal an extra 1d4 damage.") with the exception of the fire, air, water elementals. Ive tested it myself. The only thing it does is increase the animals size and its circle of influence (it can reach farther, but enemies can hit it from further away). With that being said, the best race to be a moon druid is BY FAR gnome, any of the subraces. The gnome's racial "Gnome Cunning" works with wildshape. Having advantage on all mental saves is incredibly powerful. Second place goes to wood elf/halfelf for the extra 5 movement speed.
@@starcrafteraugustine200 you are talking about two separate things. I was referring specifically to the 1d4 weapon damage increase. You are referring to a niche usage with only 1 of the 15 total wildshape forms; the owlbear form.
By only going 9 druid you're missing out on the 3rd "extra attack" on lvl 10, so I'm not sure that a one time ×2 attack is worth an extra ×1 attack in every round. Also if you go 9x Druid and 3x Rouge-Thief you're giving up the 3rd attack in exchange for another bonus attack (crushing flight 2x). So in reality you just exchange the 3rd attack on lvl 10 for another crushing flight with 3x Thief, which i consider better considering it's AOE and prones. This should out damage a ×2 attack myrmidon.
Amazing guides!!just one minor suggestion though, can we get like a bit more gameplay showcasing the potency of these builds?would really love to see some! Thank you again for bringing us these top quality guides!
I've tried putting in more gameplay, but the biggest issue I have with trying to feature more gameplay is just video time. Combat in this game takes a long time unless you are playing some sort of super high DPS build like my Assassin or Sorc builds, and so for a build like this that realistically will only kill 1 or maybe 2 enemies each turn large scale combats just take up so so much video time when I already try really hard to edit these videos down to around 10-15 minutes.
Subscribed 100%, definitely using this on either Karlach or Halsin. Would also love to see a warlock/rogue multiclass build next. Keep up the incredible build guides 👍
Any tips for spells? Which ones to prepare, which ones to concentrate on before wildshaping? Especially for the build variant with more druid levels. Don't know much about druid.
Been watching your guides really great work just curious if you are running any mods? Your characters end up looking way more put together compared to mine
Yo Stealth awesome increase in production value. Did you export the models with animation sets or was that achieved through in game footage and just clever editing?
All my bits and graphics are done entirely with editing and photoshop using normal in-game footage. I do a lot of prep-work for my bits moving objects and characters around with telekinesis. throwing, etc. in order to manipulate character and object locations for my shots. (I also often use create and destroy water to remove bloodstains and other debris to clean up shots) And then I often (like in my VATS bit from my Storm Sorcerer video) rerecord the same scene from multiple angles or do it 1 time with the HUD and 1 time the exact same way without the HUD so that I can edit the camera and HUD elements to only include the things I want.
I am loving your build videos and I plan to play all of them! However the majority of your builds rely on items acquired during a good playthrough. If it interests you, I know I would love to see an evil oriented build. I know you have your necromancer paladin, but I'm personally not a fan of summons. Either way, great work, thanks!
Super nostalgic intro lol. I’m sure it depends on the situation, but how do you mostly play this build? Since rage is a bonus action do you spend the first turn raging and concentrating on a spell? If so what spells do you like to concentrate on?
I chose the Fire Red Leaf Green battle stuff since I figured it would cover the most people in terms of nostalgia. You can't rage and concentrate on a spell at the same time (note this doesn't apply to owlbear rage, so feel free to cast that even if you're concentrating on a spell), so you have to decide based on the situation if you want the spell active or want the damage resistance from rage. So your first turn is usually, Rage and Attack outside of rage or Cast some spell then rage, and then next turn wildshape. In terms of which concentration spells to use, I'd say spike growth and hold person are your best options. Spike growth is one of the best terrain control spells in the game against melee enemies and hold person's guaranteed crits mean that if an enemy stays held into your next turn and you have the opportunity to hit them with your owlbear attacks as guaranteed crits, you'll just delete them. Another great spell to use often is Plant growth as it creates a slow field that you don't even need to concentrate on and its very easy to avoid getting slowed yourself since almost every one of the good wildshapes has some way to get over it and avoid getting slowed.
@@Stealth_07 thanks for the quick response! Completely forgot that you can't cast spells when raged, but this makes a lot of sense. Spike growth is pretty sweet, from the limited time I used it testing. Hold person also makes me realize why you wanted con proficiency. Will definitely give this a try during my first Honor mode run.
Thanks for the video. Does thunder strike hit three times from extra attacks or just once? :) I don't think they will fix tavern brawler. It was always adding attack only for wild shapes since the game launched, which is puzzling, because wild shapes are in a pretty sorry state in game due to lack of almost any gear. And because of this same reason you still have to pick tavern brawler if want to hit anything.

Small correction: the Myrmidon dont come until Druid level 10, not character level 10. So you would need to only take 2 non druid levels. I'd suggest either taking an extra level of Druid to let you upcast Conjure elemental, or another in Barbarian to give you an extra rage charge.
So basically, we start with a level in barbarian because Rage is a very strong ability early game but as we level up, particularly at level 6, the rage loses value since we are not investing further into barbarian and since the Owlbear wildshape can also Rage thus reducing rages value even more, and so we drop the barbarian level to go full druid.
you can get the shapshifters ring, nearly as soon as you get to act 2, as i just gank him while he is in last light inn, and have never had a problem with it
Probably not, especially since Tavern brawler is still bugged on honour mode, but even if it wasn't bugged, the build while it does good damage and is very tanky, i dont think is actually strong enough to be a good solo build (i mean it might be possible to do it but on honour mode itd be insanely risky).

- Alert, for bonus initiative and freeing up the initiative increasing gear for other party members
- Lucky, so you can have a way to reroll critical rolls you want to make sure go your way
- Dual Wielder, if you are dual wielding before wildshaped you gain the +1 AC to your Wildshape even after changing

I would like to see a combination of monk and sorcerer, I always wanted to make a build but I never knew how
Is this build viable for a solo honor mode run? Great video anyway!
Probably not, especially since Tavern brawler is still bugged on honour mode, but even if it wasn't bugged, the build while it does good damage and is very tanky, i dont think is actually strong enough to be a good solo build (i mean it might be possible to do it but on honour mode itd be insanely risky).
@@Stealth_07 thanks, mate. Do you have any build recommendation for a solo run in honour mode?
Comment for youtube algorithm 🥰
