Love your videos Sam! Came here from Well Dressed Dad. A trick I have been using is to write date of purchase on things, back of wash-tag for instance. It combats the feel that the garment is getting old and boring. You are reminded how it was only a few years since you bought it. Also a god way to understand resistance to wear. Keep them coming - slowly.
Thank you!! That’s such a wonderful idea! I get upset when I start to see wear on a shirt then realise I’ve had it for about 8 years, would be great to know exactly when I bought it! 😅 Thanks for watching :)
Another Top watch Sam. 💯 behind small independent slow clothing. Really like your ability to style an item of clothing in multiple ways / always find this a challenge / especially visualising that before purchase and knowing what will work together. Any tips on doing this in a future issue would be most welcome. Will check out some of those small guys doing Wonderful Ranges.
I've recently been sucked into fashion and it's so tempting to just buy all the clothes I ""need"" or want. I really want to complete my wardrobe lol. It makes me feel a bit crazy so sometimes I come to your channel to cool my head and tell myself, "Remember, SLOW and INTENTIONAL fashion!" Another thing I do to cool off is to admire a specific piece so much that I end up being sick of it.
Sounds like you’re already winning at it!! As soon as I stopped buying stuff because I wanted it and started thinking about it a bit I actually started to enjoy my wardrobe and style even more! If you feel there’s pieces missing then I find a wishlist to be really helpful at making sure I fill the gaps with the right thing! Have a good one, Sam
Well said man. I would also like to add that timeless design is also critical. Maybe you covered it. Enjoy your Sunday mate. Loved this. It feels like your videos are getting so much better. Sound quality is too notch
Absolutely man!!! Gonna work on another video allll about timeless style, and how to define your own style within that! :) thanks for noticing the sound improvements!! Just tryna get a little better every time 🙏🏻 thanks for watching man :)
Am really enjoying these videos Sam. Great Sytle, great content, great music, great editing! Making me think hard about some of my purchases but this is definitely the direction i am heading in. Keep it up,.
If I’d added one more point to this list then it would have been that it’s timelessly styled, and goes with the rest of my wardrobe so I know I’ll get plenty of wear out of it!! Anything you lovely lot would add in to the list?
Anything that I know I’ll wear over and over again, I’ve bought so many clothes in the past that are too niche to wear in different occasions! Please do a video on how you find these small brands 🤓
This was helpful! Thank you

Yessss!!! I think I’ve started taking the ‘style’ and ‘wearability’ for granted because I like such plain things 😅😅 oooh good idea!!
Definitely more Maggie!
Thinking of doing a stupid video of a Maggie catwalk show.
Have you changed your mic?
Well spotted ;)
More Maggie ASMR please!
Might do a whole video just following her around with the microphone
