Great explanation. I liked how you explained about different categories of sound. For the Music you can explain about Diagetic source-in the world of film-character and audience can hear. Where as non-diagetic- outside the world of the movie, only audience can hear.

We can't do Foley because it's too complicated and can only be done by professional and cost much
Thus improving your ambient sounds and downloading free all sort of footstep sound FX is better
