Great summary Joy! Really makes me want to go in winter!
Thanks, Will! Yes, once in a lifetime thing. It has a different beauty during winter 🙂
Hello, thanks for sharing your travels.
We are planning a trip to Norway in end of November and only have 6D5N after Oslo.
Would you recommend 3 nights in Lofoten and 2 nights Tromsø or
Bergen- Tromso? 😊
@@mcgyuquico Hmm that is a tough one. We went on December, close to your travel period. Lofoten is beautiful, very picturesque even in winter. We stayed in Reine, the southern part, during our trip. The downside however is that most of the restaurants, other attractions are closed during the season. Not quite sure on the upper part.
Tromso is more “alive” if I may say, shops and restaurants are open and more options for tours for Northern Lights and others.
Bergen is more of a city. Several people that we have talked to when we were in Norway have it as their favourite city.
Also, Tromso and Lofoten (esp Lofoten) due to its location have very limited daylight as compared to Bergen where we experienced some sun 😊.
In terms of number of activities that you could do, Tromso and Bergen.
But, Lofoten is a sight to behold 🥰.
So it’s gonna be a tough choice 😃 Excited for you and your trip!
Have you seen my Tromso, Lofoten and Bergen videos? You’ll have more idea when you watch them 😊
☺️☺️☺️
