word of warning: that throttle body will give you more horsepower but it will be higher up in the rev range, i put a 75mm MAF sensor on my 89 mustang (the stock one is like a 55mm) and while it did add horsepower up top, it killed all of my low end horsepower so the car felt really slow off the line and i ended up taking it off so unless you spend all of your time at the top of your rev range i usually advise against parts like these unless you use them in conjunction with a turbo/supercharger
Tech tip from a former Ford technician. Alot of small upgrades will cause a large increase in power. Cold air n the throttle body is done maybe 20 ish added hp. Doing your tuner will rele show you a difference in feel. I would recommend to follow that up engine wise with a full exhaust from block to the rear. Flowmaster headers, high flow cats, borla exhaust from cats back 🤤 they sound amazing n total adds are from 20 to 30 horse perrs
I have to offer my opinion about the Borla cat-back systems. I've experienced drone at highway speeds with the Borla kits. I loved Borla on the Mustang's and my personal Cobra's, but the 5.0 Coyote in mustang or f150 I go with Corsa now.
Btw, I put 17 years in with Ford too. Senior Master Technician - Driveability and Engine Performance. I can agree with you on the small upgrades adding up. When I was throwing spark plugs around I was on the dyno with a customers car or another dealership power package. I miss that place.
The boss 5.0 ford racing intake manifold does amazing things to these engines. Very cheap but more complex to install. Best upgrade per dollar on my mustang imo.
I'm installing a 404cc 14hp subaru engine I didn't see a video on where the ignition coil wire connects to, I've seen ignition coils that have two wires, this coil only has one, thank you for your help
You need a tuner and that tick on cold start up is your cam actuators..you should replace all 4..don't forget the 6 seals that go in the valve covers with the valve cover gaskets
Whenever you buy your tuner I would suggest buying one that you can download custom tunes, a out of the box tune is going to be a mild upgrade. I highly recommend checking out oz tuning they tuned my 2016 and it was pretty impressive, and the tune will self tune to the octane your running, so I thought that was pretty cool

I am not a ford man .. not saying there bad ,, don't remember what ford engine it is but the spark plugs break off in the heads ,, need a special tool or remove the heads too get broken spark plug out .. so yes the anti slease .. anit -seize helps ,, another great video ,,yes placebo is the word you wanted ..
18-21 intake manifold with the multi-length runners disabled and a tune needs to be done now. Biggest bolt on gain add 4.88 gearing and it will actually feel like its pushing 400hp

Ford, First on Race Day! I got 245,000 on my 2014 in my work truck and it's still rompin and stompin.... just one cracked exhaust manifold a while back..
I wouldn't do a flush just a change bc the clutch debris can get stuck in small passages and the transmission may not shift right but other than that love the F150!
Funny story i had an old man tell me once if i wanted to know if the work gave me more horsepower i had to take it for a rip snort then come back and stick my finger in the exhaust then smell my finger to see if it smelled like eggs if it did it worked. Needless to say i still have a scar between my middle and index finger. They laughed a lot :P

I have a 2006 F150 5.4 Triton I did a tuner a cold air different exhaust I’m getting almost 22 miles to the gallon and when the tuner is on its highest setting you talk about wake up the old girl. Not sure what the horsepower is But it’s got approximately 35 pound torque
Castrol Superclean works better at renew the filter element to like new quality. I believe in K&N air and oil filters...just not their cleaning solution.
That dirty ass air filter that you just cleaned Gained back 15 horsepower by itself.LOL. I hope you did not do that and kept it dirty in between maintenance. Wtf.
My Chevy's just have rear seal leaks. Every one of my dad's Fords leak oil from Every possible spot. Lol Not bad of an upgrade though. I can never fill the difference.

Any time I put new plugs and an air cleaner in my car it becomes a race car. Same thing when I change the oil and filter....Race car. LOL
