My Presser Foot for Stitching Leather Bracelet and Belt Edges - Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machine

For stitching our leather belts and bracelets we use the Blind Hem Foot. In this video you can learn how to use this presser foot to stitch your leather goods. It is also handy for stitching ends, tips and corners. We use the Singer Heavy Duty 4432. Also compatible with Singers 4411, 4423, 85SCH).

Im glad I found your Chanel! I’ve just got this machine for my birthday and have only Hand sewed leather before. Having somebody doing leather work on the same machine really helps, especially the presser foot with the limiter. That is a game changer!
Also what kind of thread do you use? I have the feeling the machine is not really happy with the nylon thread I used for my hand sewing… there is a lot of resistance in the system when pulling the thread, sometimes even resulting in the thread being pulled back through the needle… maybe you can help me here 😅
